Also love Curb. I think there are loads of similarities between Alan and Larry.

I think Larry David is much more edgy and challenging and subversive.

Alan Partridge just seems juvenile and puerile.

I don't really like monty python, however life of Brian is fucking hilarious.
But YADBU for not liking Alan partridge, he cracks me up every time I see him playing 'air' instruments, his timing is brilliant.

I really do not understand American humour , I'm not sure why or if it's just preference but I find it forced. People rave about ' will and Grace ' and Fraiser , 'friends ' etc but I can't get on with it !
