You are wrong in that it's a tie between Arthur Christmas and Muppets Christmas Carol. But it's definitely a close second.

It is a Christmas film, don't get how people can deny it really, but it isn't the best IMO. It's an OK action film, not a patch on Terminator. I much prefer Christmas films like Scrooge/A Christmas Carol, Home Alone, The Holiday. Proper feel good.

It's gash! My husband made me watch it last week. First 30 mins, okay, last 30 mins, okay. The rest? Gash.

Our christmas film watching order is 'Prep and Landing', Die Hard, Muppet Christmas Carol, and Arthur Christmas. But if I had to choose, it would be Die Hard. Die Hard 2 I can't get over it not being the right airport.

I forgot about Daddy's Home. I liked that one. And Bad Mom's Christmas. I did a load of panic wrapping whilst watching that the other night.

It isn't my favourite but I voted YANBU because dd and I rewatched it recently and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

The absolute favourites in our house are Miracle on 34th Street (Richard Attenborough version), which we try to watch on Christmas Eve, and It's a Wonderful Life, which we like to watch on Christmas Day. But Die Hard is a good film so enjoy!

Bullshit. The best Xmas films are the Patrick Stewart version of A Christmas Carol and A Christmas Story because I watched them when I was younger.

Die Hard, and It's a Wonderful Life for that matter, are not Christmas films, they are films that happen to be set around Christmas. By that logic the zombie Nazi horror Dead Snow is an Easter movie because it happens to be set then.

I watched Die Hard for the first time last night and quite enjoyed it but won't be adding it to my annual "must watch" Christmas list.

I did remark to my DH and 20 year old DS how gorgeous Alan Rickman was and they looked at me like I had too much Advocaat !!

Of topic and Controversial I know but I love Die Hard and then Die Hard 3 is my second fav, then 2 then 5 (son is very watchable) and the 4.0 with special mention for the helicopter destroyed by a car
