Paul McCartney was never, ever goodlooking in any way. And he was never a rock star. He wouldn't know rock if you hit him over the head with it. The Beatles were a rockabilly band who found drugs - nothing more.

Robert Plant was goodlooking and rock. Greg Lake also - in fact, he was much prettier than RP. Michael Des Barres was beautiful and rock.

Rockabilly? I'm no Beatles fan but, early on at least, they sounded like they're doing a British version of the Bakersfield sound.

Peter Green was in the original and best version of Fleetwood Mac. Paul Rodgers was the lead singer in Free. Both very dishy! (I saw Fleetwood Mac at the Bath Festival of Jazz and Blues in 1969 BTW)
