What ? How is this a thing , no absolutely not 😂

@Choirgirl2021 ooooh 😍

KimWexlersPonyTail · 14/12/2021 09:41

Stuart Sutcliffe for me. One of the originall Beatles line up who sadly died very young when they were in Hamburg.

MrsBungle · 14/12/2021 09:44

I think Elvis tops the list. He was so striking.

Closely followed by Jim Morrison, Lenny Kravitz and Michael Hutchence.

MrsSkylerWhite · 14/12/2021 09:45

Was sad to read that Mike Nesmith had died. Always thought he was lovely (terrible 60s/70s hairdo and sideburns aside Grin)

George ! sexiest Beatle definitely.
Also of that era - Syd Barrett, Keef (someone above said when he was with Anita Pallenberg - definitely), Paul Rodgers (saw a recent interview and he still looks pretty good!) Also Steve Winwood.

Sparklingbrook · 14/12/2021 09:54

As people like Bon Jovi and Michael Hutchence are being mentioned think it's ok to say that nobody mentioned on the thread rivals John Taylor IMO. But he's a bass player, not the frontman/singer so not sure he's allowed to be counted. Grin

EBearhug · 14/12/2021 09:54

How has no one mentioned Roger Daltrey?

blackberriesaretheonlyfruit · 14/12/2021 09:58

Paul wasn't even the best looking Beatle imo George was.

CampagVelocet · 14/12/2021 10:02

Kurt Cobain, all day long.

KurtWildesChristmasNamechange · 14/12/2021 10:03

Nope you're all wrong, Daryl Hall was actually the prettiest man alive at one point. I wasn't born then, but if I could nip back to the early seventies I wouldn't mind bumping into him.

George was the best Beatle. I did like John's arrogance but watching Get Back made me uncomfortable with just how... not there John was.

I absolutely loved the Beatles when I was a teenager in the 90s. Properly in love with George and John. Watching Get Back also hit me just how young they all were. I'm now in my 40s and feel a bit creepy old woman finding them, George in particular, attractive. They now look too young!

But never Paul. God no.

CrackersDontMatter · 14/12/2021 10:30

Fuck no

VanillaAndOrange · 14/12/2021 10:35

My favourite is David Coverdale in about 1980, but I think George was better looking than Paul. Middle-aged Paul was quite nice looking in a sort of everyman way.

But he's a bass player, not the frontman/singer so not sure he's allowed to be counted.

Do you have to be a singer to be considered a "star"? I'm not convinced. I'd actually take issue more with the description of Paul McCartney as "rock" - isn't that style considered pop rather than rock?

50ShadesOfCatholic · 14/12/2021 10:42

My god.

If we are talking singer songwriters, how about Seal, Terence Trent D'Arby, Harry Styles, anyone really 😂

I meant for the purpose of the thread more than anything. wasn't sure what the rules were. Grin

Oooh David Coverdale though. Yes. But it's always going to be John Taylor for me and dare I say it George Michael, he was very beautiful back in the day.

TheFreaksShallInheritTheEarth · 14/12/2021 11:04

Keef

Keef and Mick were gorgeous when they were young.

Giggorata · 14/12/2021 11:16

Nah. John and George. George the best looking but John… had something.
Other beautiful men of that era include Syd Barrett, David Gilmore, Peter Frampton and Jimi Hendrix.
I suppose Jim Morrison, but i didn't like the Doors.
Robert Plant and Paul Rodgers both get there because of their incredible voices and presence, not their looks.
In my book.

Pedalpushers · 14/12/2021 11:16

Paul was good looking but I'm not sure I'd call him sexy.

itssquidstella · 14/12/2021 11:18

Ew no

queenofarles · 14/12/2021 11:24

Not even close!
It’s David Lee Roth.
John Taylor from Duran Duran
And all the Bon jovi boys .

heyheymamaway · 14/12/2021 11:31

John Lennon circa Shea Stadium, covered in sweat, ripping into "Twist & Shout". Oooft. Filthy.

EscapeTheCastle · 14/12/2021 11:43

DH has been teasing me over my reaction to Paul in the Get Back doc.

I've been enjoying his jumpers. Such a selection! So preppy and organised jamming away on the piano composing and bloody getting on with it while the others Beatles look drained and ready to break up the band.

He looks like black beauty the horse. So glossy.

AndARiverBeneathYourFeet · 14/12/2021 12:20

@Lottapianos

I hear you OP. Macca was at his peak in 1969 - never looked or sounded better. The rooftop concert footage made me come over all unnecessary

Don't get the George Harrison appeal AT ALL. Prefer Ringo ☺️

YES!! Ringo Grin love his face
Sparklingbrook · 14/12/2021 12:27

I really tried to watch Get Back but I think it's one for the die hard fans.

AryaStarkWolf · 14/12/2021 12:28

definitely agree that Jim Morrison beats any of the Beatles, I wouldn't really find any of the Beatles very attractive
