I mean, really?

I actually thought the live announcement tonight was a spoof until 5 minutes through...

The man is his own characature

I get he's a new dad to 2 little ones, but he's also the prime minister - can he not show the British public at least a little respect?

🤷

As my grandpa used to say 'he looks like he had a fight with a lawnmower, and lost............'

SoSoTiredToday · 12/12/2021 22:06

To be honest, I did used to get a bit sucked in to the 'loveable old borris' vibe, but now I just can't stand the man - he is so disrespectful. Taking the public for a fool, lying, breaking his own rules. Angry

I doubt it would look good even if it was combed. It's dry and dead as straw. And even if it looked 'smart' (I can't imagine) he would still look like shit. No idea why he's such a hit with the ladies.

TerribleCustomerCervix · 12/12/2021 22:08

Can you imagine the DM headline if Theresa May had appeared on a national broadcast looking like she’d just woken up in a skip?

GreenLunchBox · 12/12/2021 22:10

My DC love the fun old Boris schtick. I was shocked today when one of them said they hoped the 8pm address was to announce his resignation. I was like "REALLY?!!!!" and he said "yes, it's beyond a joke now.... I wish he'd go"

I was shocked. They tune into PMQs every week just to have a laugh at him ConfusedBlush

Remember the shit that Corbyn got.

The man's a fraud and I don't know why people voted for him

DroopyClematis · 12/12/2021 22:12

He looked a mess tonight.

However, I e read , on numerous occasions, that his dishevelled look is carefully crafted and that his mumbling, bumbling routine is also carefully crafted.

When he wants to be very serious, the bumbling disappears. Seen it a couple of times.

TW: very depressing and frightening

powershowerforanhour · 12/12/2021 22:13

"It looks like its been cut with nail clippers"

I would bet the value of whatever goes down his neck and up his nose every week that his barber has perfected a very careful "scruff cut" especially for him. The rumpled hair is fake, the wiff waff is fake, his name is fake.

BettyfromBristol · 12/12/2021 22:15

He is a total disgrace.

TimeFlysWhenYoureHavingRum · 12/12/2021 22:16

Everything about him is fake.

caketiger · 12/12/2021 22:16

He does comb it...... With a balloon

FatFredsFriedEgg · 12/12/2021 22:16

It's not a 'carefully presented image', it's a comedy character created by the serial liar Alexander de Pfeffel Johnson, or 'Al' to his family.

He's no more a real person than Keith Lemon or Vic Reeves is.

What sort of a gullible twat votes a comedy TV character in as Prime Minister?

GreenLunchBox · 12/12/2021 22:19

He's our Trump, isn't he? He had comedy hair too.
Even the Americans recovered from their collective insanity. We have two more years of being humiliated on the world stage. I guess it's deserved. It's not like he hid who he was Confused

Mouseketeer2015 · 12/12/2021 22:19

The jacket he was wearing was a state too. I wonder if he used to look that disheveled for his weekly audience with the Queen (I say used to, think it's doubtful that they're having face to face meetings currently. She's probably secretly relieved).

FatFredsFriedEgg · 12/12/2021 22:20

When he wants to be very serious, the bumbling disappears. Seen it a couple of times.

And have you seen the way he laughs and smirks while he's telling the most obvious outrageous lies, and then the evil, malevolent look that he gets when he's caught out in a lie and hasn't got a bullshit response prepared?

Legoisthebest · 12/12/2021 22:20

I thought his hair looked like his toddler kid had hacked at it with scissors. At least that would be an understandable excuse.

AnotherOneWithNoGoodName · 12/12/2021 22:21

@JayAlfredPrufrock

I expected the doors behind him to burst open and a line of samba dancers to appear.

Say what you like about David Cameron but he always looked smart.

Say what you like about any previous PM, they always looked presentable, especially when on official duties.
megletthesecond · 12/12/2021 22:21

Yanbu. He's foul.

Slobberstops · 12/12/2021 22:22

He does the same with his speeches - aah I have only just arrived, no idea what is going on, who am I speaking about oh but here I am really funny when I get going- all preplanned and identical each time. All part of a curated image that inexplicably has worked thus far.

BigTwinkie · 12/12/2021 22:22

I'd love him to put it into a top knot ☺️

twocatsandtwokids · 12/12/2021 22:55

I wonder this a lot!

Nevertime · 12/12/2021 23:00

It's not that he can't be bothered, he (or his team) very much can be bothered, they rough it up deliberately before TV appearances. It's all part of that lovable buffoon image, which apparently is who people want running their country Confused

sst1234 · 12/12/2021 23:01

There is a theme emerging. It seems that people with dodgy hairdos are usually crap leaders. The cap fits both Boris Johnson and Angela Rayner. And they absolutely should wear it, if only to hide their awful hair.
