To ask you to recommend a cheaper laundry liquid?

I’m trying to cut costs. I have always bought branded laundry liquid like Ariel, fairy or bold but it’s so expensive. I tried an own brand - I think it was Asda and it was just rubbish.
Can anyone recommend any cheaper detergent that’s not bad? I use the liquid not powder as the powder seems to clog my machine and the liquitabs are even more expensive, we are only a family of four but I do laundry every day!

I was told many many years ago by my Media Studies teacher than the names brand washing powder companies also make supermarket own brands. Check out the ingredients.
Same as on paracetamol if the batch number is the same on the cheaper versions as on names brand ones it’s the same tablet, just in a different box. That’s a Martin Lewis one.

Another one for Lidl and Aldi...the Aldi one is £2.49! I wasn't expecting much at that price but I was wrong, it's really good

I have changed.to Smol. Free trial pack and then very reasonable. Does the same job as Ariel my previous buy. Fabric conditioner cheaper as well.
