Mine is that I can make a meal out of any old shit I find in the back of the cupboard/fridge! I should be on that old Ainsley cooking show where they give you a potato and a banana and ask you to make a meal 🤣

I have really good aim. I'm a crack shot at throwing rubbish from the sofa to the bin in our living room

Making coffee without a spoon. I can tip exactly the right amount in to the cup every time. Thanks to years of working in offices where the kitchens never had any spoons, or just one absolutely grotty one

I can always pour out exactly even glasses of wine, no matter how much or little is in the bottle.

I can do Harvard referencing...

I can weigh a quarter of pound of mince by sight.

Really?! My own teenagers are really pretty biddable. The ones I teach? Not so much...

I can remember the lyrics of many 70s pop songs (and most of the dance moves).

I have a good sense of direction. I'm like a homing pigeon...on holiday I can usually find my way back to wherever we ve cone from without a map. Same with finding where we parked the car in the car park. I never need note which zone we were in.....useful as DH is the complete opposite, has a terrible sense if direction and gets lost all the time

I have a bone in my foot that hurts when the weather changes

Being able to fix any problems my staff have by just standing behind them while they show me what the problem is with their software. Somehow always manages to work when I'm watching!

I can always squeeze one more bit of toothpaste from the tube. No matter how empty it looks.

I'm really good at packing suitcases. I can fit so much into a tiny case. I'm also good at loading the car for holiday. Everything will fit, nothing gets left behind!!

I can memorise large chunks of text quite easily.
I am, I discovered to my own surprise, a half decent homeschooler. Both of mine did well while homeschooling. For the record, I was delighted to send them back to school. I have zero wish to use this superpower.

I can tell when my kids are going to be ill by their smell before they have actual clinical symptoms.

Oh I'm so jealous of that! I have the most shockingly terrible sense of direction. It's seriously embarrassing and inconvenient!

I can fold a child’s pop up play tent so it fits back in the bag

I am in awe. When our DDs were little my Godfather bought them a pop up tent. He was a highly skilled aircraft engineer and totally failed to get it back in the bag (DH and I didn't even bother trying).

Getting lost. I have absolutely no sense of direction and cannot identify landmarks if I see them from a different angle.

On the other hand, I am excellent at knowing the time without looking at a clock and have only ever once overslept, although I don't use an alarm clock.

I can speed read like you wouldn't believe. My eyes don't track the words, instead they sort of take a split second photo of half the page. I was a fanatical reader from being little. In the classroom I was always that child who was 20 pages ahead when we did group reading.
