Today he stumbled through a talk addressing business men and talked at length about Peppa Pig World

He will no doubt be working hard on a speech to quash any rumours

I absolutely would not write him off just yet there isn’t a replacement lined up

As for giving a good speech the last speech on the bbc referendum debates was handed to him agree or not it was a rousing speech he knows exactly how to win voters back over I was so pissed over he was allowed that space especially as he had taken quite a back seat during the campaigning

Labour don’t want to concentrate on his struggles they need to concentrate on what they will do

He is like Teflon nothing ever ever sticks to him this won’t either

I think Boris is probably busier sorting out his personal problems and planning his post-PM life. He wants money.

DerTrotzkopf · 23/11/2021 14:16

@fournonblondes bit of a daft statement. So the millions that voted for labour are loonies and haters.
No wonder the tory party is called the nasty party.

I also thought cocaine, I used to work in an industry with a lot of cokeheads

I think it's either Sunak or Hunt, both of whom are certainly not as dumb but also probably won't connect with the voters as well

If Labour could get a more charismatic leader, I think they'd have a shot next time

Anonymouseposter · 23/11/2021 14:34

I didn't mean to imply above that Labour have a right to votes in Wales or Scotland just that I have noticed in Wales that a majority strongly dislike Boris and co but they still won seats because there were a lot of 3 way splits and the Tories pipped everyone else to the post. I can see it happening again in the future.

Jeremy Hunt has been popping up a lot recently being "the Voice of Reason" (God help us), blatantly obvious he's manoeuvring for the moment Johnson gets bored and/or realises he's broke and has to go and do things that get him paid lots of money by his rich mates. I hesitate to use the word "work".

It's between Hunt and Sunak as the next PM. Mind you, having a competent PM with this shower in government could actually be worse than the chaos we have, so I'm being careful what I wish for.

Of the two, I think I'd prefer Hunt although that's a bit like saying I'd prefer being eaten by sharks than eaten by bears.

Perfectly clear now, to anybody with a brain, why he was never allowed on TV to be put under scrutiny by any journalist. He avoided scrutiny at Brexit, the Election and all the way through Covid. Despite being unable to account for his policies or demonstrate any political capabilities, idiots voted for him and ever since his strategy has been to hide behind the blundering - which is clearly no act.

I absolutely abhor how Jeremy Hunt treated junior doctors and imposed horrid contracts on them. Vile.
