Her life just looks amazing. Yes obviously hard at times and not perfect. But 9 lovely children, she's gorgeous, kind husband, successful career, meaningful job and being able to spend time outdoors with her family. All the animals and space.
What I'd give for that life!

Nooo, my 7yo will be devastated if she finds out they've split up!

Ragwort · 19/11/2021 19:39

Not to mention his DC (& DGC) from his first marriage ... apparently they are not close to their DF now Sad.

Bexlily · 19/11/2021 19:39

It does look like an idilic life but I bet its harder than it seems in camera.

The kids all seem well rounded though, they do seem like a nice family.

It's a shame if they have split up but you don't really know what goes on behind closed doors.

WheelieBinPrincess · 19/11/2021 19:40

He step daughter did an article saying she was awful to her and the husband doesn’t bother with his grandkids at all.

Chikapu · 19/11/2021 19:45

Having nine kids sounds like a fucking nightmare. Her life 'looks perfect' but I highly doubt it is.

DobbyTheHouseElk · 19/11/2021 19:47

It looks like a really hard life to me. I’d be miserable and I love the outdoors.

No way I’d swap with her.

LowlandLucky · 19/11/2021 19:49

itssquidstella Their children are educated at the local schools, Their eldest Raven is at York Uni, i think she is studying biochemistry, Their eldest Son Ruben got most of his GCSE's and is an apprentice working on heavy plant machinery.

WhatMattersMost · 19/11/2021 19:51

I've learned never to hold up another person's relationship up as an ideal. Nothing - nothing - is ever what we believe it to be if we believe it's wonderful.

AliceAbsolum · 19/11/2021 19:51

All good points.

So are they split or not?!

The kids do go to school and one of her daughters is actually at uni. They’re all lovely kids.

Fab house with beautiful walks and views. What I’d do for her husband..!

elbea · 19/11/2021 19:57

Having worked on livestock farms, it’s really tough. Lambing is absolutely back breaking. Up all night, taking turns checking on the sheep every hour. Feeding, watering, moving livestock is tough, even tougher with a baby on your back in all weathers. Once I’d finished feeding and watering it would be time to feed the orphans and then you’d start again, stopping only to put new lambs in pens, given them iodine and supplements.

I did one lambing season in the Welsh Mountains where we couldn’t leave for a month due to being snowed in. I was still out from 6am until 8pm everyday, we stopped for bait, lunch and tea otherwise we were out all the time in the bitter cold. Your hands bleed from being wet and cold all the time. I did one check in the night too.

Upland farmers income is on average around £20,000 per annum. They earn much, much less than minimum wage, never go on holiday because paying somebody to watch the farm is so expensive. It is very much not idyllic.

Silversun83 · 19/11/2021 19:58

I have absolutely no idea who she is, but after reading she has nine kids.. YABVU.

Chichichiwawa · 19/11/2021 20:01

Would not want to be a sheep farmer with 9 kids, no. I wouldn't mind loads of beautiful land, a large farmhouse and a horse to ride all over my beautiful land though.

DaisyandSimeon · 19/11/2021 20:02

Oh goodness, her life is much harder than all the sunlit edited highlights we are seeing.

Supermohican · 19/11/2021 20:03

She is ok, bought a new farm plus the other house.

Atozofpoodles · 19/11/2021 20:04

God no! 9!Dcs😯 and a marriage in the rocks. I’d hate the relentless work

VladmirsPoutine · 19/11/2021 20:05

@elbea Out of interest what bought you there? Something you grew up with or did you sign up for an experience of sorts?

Oneforthemoneytwo · 19/11/2021 20:09

I think it would be a hideous life. 9 kids, no way, living miles from anywhere, no thanks, outside in all weathers chasing animals. No thanks and a house whixh looks like it’s falling apart and is filthy, forget it, my worst nightmare

MissLucyEyelesbarrow · 19/11/2021 20:09

Unless you're loaded and have staff, a big family always means the older ones having to look after the younger ones. And most parents struggle to give 2 or 3 kids enough attention. Imagine having to compete with 8 sibs and a farm.

The impression I get is that it's all about her and what she wants.

nannybeach · 19/11/2021 20:14

They split up said she had moved out of the farm,no idea if she took the kids. Same old, said it was the pressure of having your life under the camera, that they hadn't been getting on for some time

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 19/11/2021 20:16

Sad they’ve separated, that would be the fame I guess, Clive looked like he was very unhappy in the spotlight.

The children are amazing. I would have had 9 if they turned out like them. Remarkable children.

MrsFin · 19/11/2021 20:18

@itssquidstella

Her children don't go to school, do they? Not for me. Children need GCSEs!

Yes they do. And the oldest is in university.

DontGiveAFlyingFig · 19/11/2021 20:21

Don't envy her at all, my Dad was a farmer and he ant my Mum were adamant I didn't go into farming/marry a farmer!

9 kids and living in the arse end of nowhere, sounds romantic but no way Jose!

MrsFin · 19/11/2021 20:22

I would have loved 9 kids thought.

@A580Hojas

It's the absolute opposite of what I would wish for in life (both in terms of crowds of children and living remotely on a farm) so a very firm YABU from me.
Same here. I would absolutely hate the drudgery of cooking, washing and cleaning after so many children, not to mention the stress of worrying about them all. I can't think of anything worse TBH.
