I've seen couple of episodes and found some of the other cast members seem to be quite good, why they needed him as an import

If you go back to 2007 she was going crazy on his fanpage. So even then she was obsessed I dread to think how that developed over 13 years.

What type of things was she doing on the fanpage? I believe it eventually shut down because of her?

Apart from maybe one DM article Alice seems to be getting fairly positive press, now invited on the Australian radio show …. I don’t get it, surprised they are glossing over the tweets she deletes.

She's started on the wine early today.

She's been asking people on Twitter to find out info about any affairs he may have had, so I expect a few people will have come out of the woodwork to troll, make stuff up etc, because there are people who will encourage self destruction.

FWIW @Bluntness100 to be fair I don't think he has actually accused her of abuse or alcoholism? Unless I have missed something, in which case I apologise.

He has been remarkably quiet in the face of the onslaught, which tbh is in the best interests of his children as far as I can see.

There has been IMO a clear history of abusive behaviour on Alice's part, the set to's she's had with other drivers, people online, Piers Morgan (who she harassed via his wife because he unfollowed her on twitter), her ex husband, Bianca Wallace, Ella Newton, that nice make up lady who was just trying to be kind on twitter and anyone who disagrees with her. It's pretty shocking tbh.

She really made me mad trying to tie #TeamAlice to the #Metoo movement. One is dealing with sexual assault and rape, and the other? A woman who's husband left her.

A woman who's husband left her equates herself and the situation to the #metoo and all it encompasses? Angry doesn't really cover it.

Where in any of this has she platformed for other women like she said she was going to? Not that it'd do much good in my opinion, but she was supposed to be highlighting other women's plight and has asked for women to share their stories via Twitter.

When they do come to her to share and be supported she glosses over what they say and turns it right back to her!

When she's interviewed (really irresponsible and exploitative by the newspapers, tv and radio stations IMO) does she talk about these women she is championing? No she does not.

It's all about Alice.

I think some troll whose account has now been deleted said he’d had three affairs and complaints about his behaviour and she’s believed it.

@MyDogLovesBiscuits, no he’s not said that publicly that she is abusive and an alcoholic, Alice is saying he is saying that and that’s what she had to sit through with the lawyers as they detailed examples. She said at the time it went on for three hours and was excruciating as she had to sit and listen to them recite evidence of her behaviour...

Oh just as an added extra bonus, one of her fans on twitter told her only narcissists and abusers cheat which Alice liked.

Later when questioned about cheating on her previous partner with her xH she went on to say that it wasn't a valid example of cheating because Oliver turned out to be gay and then later on still said that she'd cheated on numerous boyfriends and been cheated on before and it was all cool because there were no children involved.

But only Narcs and abusers cheat though right Alice?

It’s a ratings winner isn’t it. Everyone is talking about it. And very few in a good way, so getting her on, gets people to watch and listen.

I think some of the people giving positive comments though don’t know about thr tweets or background, they just take her interviews as read.

Am I correct in thinking the only relevant fact to you is that he left her? That you see this as so inherently wrong, that any behaviour on Alice’s part is explainable, and you will ‘support’ her regardless?

Of course they have done their homework. It’s a huge draw - will theirs be the show where she emotionally implodes live on air - she’s being exploited.

Agree - I don't know which Aussie radio show it is, but if it's one of the shock jock stations she needs to be really careful. Is Bianca Australian, because if my experience of listening to these kinds of stations is anything to go by, they won't like one of 'their own' being trashed and Alice will very quickly find herself on the wrong side of the sympathy vote.

I don’t know what other people are looking at but today’s Twitter batshittery levels look as high as ever to me.

I also wouldn’t say her Insta posts are less hystrionic, just that she doesn’t post to that platform as frequently (praise Jesus). And the set up of the Insta platform doesn’t really lend itself to the same quick back and forths that you get with Twitter.

I think all of the stuff she is saying and tweeting is stuff many of us may have thought or felt or even blubbed to a close friend in our darkest days - but we knew it was extreme emotion - just rage and vengeful thoughts that didn’t leave our heads in words or actions and soon subsided. Lots of us can identify with the shock, devastation, discombobulation and deep deep hurt of being left / betrayed. That’s where the support ends - the SM stuff will and does hurt her DCs, it’s an act of delusional self harm. I have sympathy that she is emotionally destabilised and needs help - not fanning the flames. Once she has some insight to her own reactions and behaviours she will likely switch that rage to deep shame and that will be a very painful place for her to exist emotionally and another emotional battering for her DCs to be exposed to.

I hope she has some RL friends who can help her - but I wonder if she has burnt many bridges along the way.

You describe the emotion of anger very well and in a way most of us recognise. It’s a hugely overwhelming emotion but is as you decribe short lived and for that reason many of us rarely act on it before it subsides or rationality takes over. For me it’s like a poison ball inside that needs to plucked out and thrown away before it harms me or anyone else.

People who sustain anger and rage for such long periods of time frighten me. That’s not good for you. Plus a key purpose of an angry person is to make others angry so they have company.

Are these people mad or bad? There’s no doubt that the chemicals anger produces will poison you physically and mentally. You aren’t meant to be in that state for long (just long enough to escape danger).

But there are some people who are just bad in these mixes. They are happy when they hurt and abuse and when they can encourage others to anger and destruction.

Question is where does AE sit in this?

Of course information about alleged affairs can’t be used in court. It’s totally irrelevant to the proceedings in a no fault state. She literally has no grounds to oppose a divorce. It’s not relevant to his fitness as a father. It’s not relevant to a financial settlement. It’s not even a reason to explain her behaviour because it’s speculation.

But the information can be used to sell stories to the papers. Who are just writing stories based on her posts because she is a cheap story now. They will want stories about IG and Bianca. They are of far more worth and interest.
