To want to leave teaching now I’m a parent

I hate the lack of flexibility. I just am really struggling so don’t flame me. I can’t take a day of leave when I need to, can’t take an afternoon or morning off. I hate it. Or am I being an idiot?

Anyone can request part time-you have to justify how good it will be for employer. Lots of exemplars to look at online.

I can't imagine a better job with kids. I teach part time and feel very lucky.
