Is it not that common to be on your second marriage in your 30's

I got married a few years ago when I was in my mid 30's, it is my second marriage. Is it not that common to marry for a second time in your 30's, none of my friend's have been in the same position as me.

I don't see the point of getting married again. I wouldn't.

@Viviennemary in our case dh really wanted to marry as I was pregnant very quickly and he was concerned about his place in ds's life if I turned out to be a bad bet Grin was the right decision for us. It was the first marriage that was a dumb decision.

I married at age 21, and again at age 26. Have now been married for 38 years.

I'm the only divorced person in my social circle. I divorced about a decade ago after 12 years of marriage. There will not be a second!

All the people I know who got married in their early to mid 20s are now on second marriages/ divorces.

I think it's just a reflection of how much people change from 25 to 35. (Compared to 35 to 45 there will be less change.)

So in my (small) circle of friends family and acquaintances it's uncommon to be married in your 20s, but for those who do, it's common for them to be divorced pretty quickly.
