Fascinated by the "go tonto" discussion. It's a phrase I'm familiar with so I'm surprised to see so many posters drawing a blank, but Google suggests it's Scottish/Glaswegian in particular which I'm not, so I have no idea where I heard it from.

I live in Glasgow. Some people here will (incorrectly say) "I have went", you hear it all the time.

But I have never heard anyone saying that they "have went tonto".

OP it sounds like the symbol for the Clyde 1 / Radio Clyde app. Are you in that area? It's a sort of pinky purple colour

Tonto to me is The Lone Rangers friend. Maybe you have to be a certain age for that although I think there was a remake more recently.

If you feel like this then you need to assess how happy you are. It isn’t good for you to feel like this. There are obviously other reasons causing you to jump to this conclusion! Have you spoken to your husband?

Also, there’s a nee option on WhatsApp that deletes photos after they’ve been looked at, is it likely he clicked that by accident? I’ve done it a couple of times without even realising.

Absolutely. I’d have gone for a (one way) drive if I was accused of cheating because of a radio app on my phone, by a partner who had ‘went tonto’
