Men tend to care about the women they're just about to marry and if right now she's over the moon about finding the perfect wedding dress for her, then yes I would imagine he cares about that.

If however you only mix with the sort of men who are very like yourself - happy to piss on the happiness of others with unnecessary comments about their wedding dress, then I can understand why you don't know many who do.

DH wanted to see my dress before the wedding and we ended up having a bit of a set-to - TBF, I didn't deal with it very well. What I should have said was 'I really want it to be a lovely suprise for you' but instead, because I wasn't expecting him to ask I went with 'But it's what I want to wear and if you see it beforehand and don't like it I'll not feel happy in it', and I tried to add 'But I'm sure you'll love it on the day!' but it was a bit late by then and he was offended and 'But it's tradition' didn't wash with him.

Still he didn't see it, beforehand and he did love it on the day (it was actually a mid-length blue bridesmaid dress, with custom made fascinator and shoes).

It's beautiful, have a wonderful, wonderful day in it. On another note I'm totally jealous of the models youth and beauty.

What I meant was most men expect to see a long white dress. The shape and details don't matter to them as long as the bride likes it.
