Living in a house share, my ring was stolen the other day (that once belonged to my great grandmother ) and I know the fucker who took it more than likely sold it for drugs (or threw it away, as I'm not sure it's worth anything,) and knowing I'll never see my lovely ring again is so upsetting.
I always wore it on my ring finger, because I said that the link I have with my great-grandmother and grandmother (who gave it to me) is more important than any man.
And just the constant noise, and dodgy people coming and going, It was nice here when I first moved in, but the nice people have gone and now I have to deal with these twats.

Covid, Brexit, that state of the UK, the fear I have about my future that I'll die penniless and alone. I'm generally a happy person, but the above situation is not helping, and my current job doesn't pay enough for me to move out.

Covid. I'm waiting for surgery for a missed miscarriage. My surgery is 5 days later than it could have been because the hospital lost my f*ING covid swab.

That is fucking shit! I would be furious too.

My eyes itching. Unbearably. The prescription gubbins makes no difference. Nor does any Optrex spray or wash. Not even sleep brings peace; I wake up scratching in the middle of the night. I can chomp antihistamines like sweeties - no change..... I want it over. I am soooooo tired of it.

The DWP. I've been waiting now for 3 months for my state pension, first payment should have been July.

I satisfy all the criteria.

Oh yes!! I bought a whole load of new socks last winter. Replacing socks I have had for years and years. All the new socks have developed holes in them mysteriously. Some after a few wearings. They are bought from different places. I find it really disturbing.
Likewise t shirts. I have some great t shirts I have had for years. All of them developed holes over lockdown. I can’t find new ones of the same quality. They are all polyester/ or some crap man made material. Even the cotton ones are rubbish.

The endless doom and gloom on here.

Pointless covid regulations that are just “theatre” and don’t really make much difference to transmission rates. Also, people who want everyone to kowtow to their more stringent version of the rules to make themselves feel better.

Time to put the Grown Up Pants on and start assimilating back into normal life.
