So little stock on the shelves. Makes the weekly shop a complete nightmare as you just cannot meal plan anymore.

I didn’t vote for this absolute shit storm.

A nurse is meant to be caring and compassionate, to call people who have a different political opinion to you as despised is just shocking.

You really arent a very nice person?

Tempusfudgeit · 19/09/2021 18:49

Our vaccination roll-out?

Creamsoda77 · 19/09/2021 18:49

Its not all Brexit, its also a huge global pandemic, Brexit is only a small part of it!!

theDudesmummy · 19/09/2021 18:49

I never cease to be glad that I left (despite the fact that I always was a staunch Londoner, loved my city so much and never thought I would leave). Being out of Britain is a better option now. We "Brexited Brexit" as my DH puts it. (And salmon is easy to come by here!...again, not the point!).

CMZ2018 · 19/09/2021 18:50

😂😂😂 love you too

spudjulia · 19/09/2021 18:50

@malificent7

I do agree op but there is a global shortage of CO2 which may account for sparkling water shortage. As they use it to stun animals before slaughter there may be a shortage of meat soon according to the radio...good reason to go veggie i rekon.
Think it was some guy at Bernard matthews on radio today saying to expect shortages of turkey at xmas due to the co2 issues.
TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 19/09/2021 18:50

@checkedcloth

Laughing at the idea that because I’m a nurse I’m not ‘allowed’ to have any feelings about Brexit.

Honestly you lot are a bunch of comedians

You’re really not seeing the difference between ‘having feelings’ and ‘despising tens of millions of people who you don’t even know’.
Chesneyhawkes1 · 19/09/2021 18:51

It's not just salmon and fizzy water - I've been unable to get my ostrich steaks for quite some time 🤬

vera99 · 19/09/2021 18:51

I'm clapping for the nurse here. Cut her some slack and let's remember the nurses that save Johnson's life were immigrants. Maybe that's the best argument for Brexit thus far...

PeriChristmas · 19/09/2021 18:51

@MrsPear

I bloody hate the people who voted for brexit and the worse thing is they are being rewarded by the government by being told they don’t have to pay for nowt and the taxpayer has their ni increased. The shelves in Waitrose bridport in the summer were completely bare - no bread etc Bloody scum the lot of them. Destroyed this country and the future because they are racist, stupid and ignorant.
Yup.
Booknooks · 19/09/2021 18:51

Very selfishly can't be too upset about the aspect of the co2 shortage meaning animals won't be able to be slaughtered. I'm under no illusion that they'll gallop on into the sunset, but ew.

MarshaBradyo · 19/09/2021 18:51

How much is it CO2, Covid, haulage etc

I voted against Brexit so not that just wondering what’s going on

It does seem we’ve had empty shelves issue for some time although it’s not too bad here

theDudesmummy · 19/09/2021 18:52

I am a doctor, I despise plenty of Tories people. If I feel a certain way about certain people that is how I feel. If I meet them in my personal life they would probably realise it. If I meet them in my professional life they would not.

GlobalForce · 19/09/2021 18:53

theDudesmummy

Do you do nasty things to them they don't realise?

Ilovegreentomatoes · 19/09/2021 18:53

@RIPIgglePiggle who said nurses were Angels? I never agreed with that clap trap anyway.And yes nurses want pay rises but can't understand that many other low paid workers want that to and so should be in support of the fact that finally uk employers might have to pay a decent wage because they cannot get cheap imported staff.

checkedcloth · 19/09/2021 18:53

@Creamsoda77 I am actually one of life’s nicest people. I’m kind, compassionate and always ready to go out of my way for anyone.

But I still despise those that voted Brexit.

@Applesonthelawn

You are latching on to a reduction in choice at the supermarket to justify a rant about Brexit and target those who voted in favour of Brexit in a democratic referendum. That is unreasonable, ill-informed and can only have negative consequences. Fill your life with hate if you really must but don't try to spread it over the internet.

Honestly what sort of comment is that? It’s beyond stupidity. This is why people like you shouldn’t have been given the opportunity to vote for something so fundamentally important as Brexit.

theDudesmummy · 19/09/2021 18:55

@GlobalForce like what? Give them rectal examinations they don't need like they have done to the whole UK

Yes, of course I do.

TeloMere · 19/09/2021 18:55

Of course YABU but carry on despising people if it makes you feel better.
There are supply problems in many countries including America and Australia. It would be unrealistic to expect everything to carry on as normal in a global pandemic.

RIPIgglePiggle · 19/09/2021 18:56

Why didn’t they just raise the minimum wage then bright spark.

Utter codswallop

mustlovegin · 19/09/2021 18:57

And of course concern that this could simply be the thin end of the wedge

AKA Scaremongering

What's most frustrating and alarming is the refusal for anyone in government to acknowledge that there are serious issues

Ermmm...because there aren't any?

HarrietPierce · 19/09/2021 18:57

"Our vaccination roll-out?"

9 European countries have overtaken us and that includes 12+ in some cases.

mustlovegin · 19/09/2021 18:58

Remainers cannot let go of resentment and seem to be out in force tonight. Please give over, it's getting tiring now

TooBigForMyBoots · 19/09/2021 18:59

That is unreasonable, ill-informed and can only have negative consequences.
You mean like Brexit @Applesonthelawn?
