Have you gotten pregnant after both yourself and partner had first and second vaccine?

Family member has after 14 years of infertility. We are delighted and the only surprise is that it happened naturally given their medical history

Clocktopus · 15/09/2021 22:28

No but DH has had the snip so I'd be bloody shocked if I was.

HaveANiceFuckingDay · 15/09/2021 22:31

Yes a work colleague had the 2nd jab about 3 months ago
Shes 9 weeks pregnant

DumplingsAndStew · 15/09/2021 22:33

Well, yes, but the doctor told me the vaccine had to be given... internally.

Is that not right?

SweetMeadow · 15/09/2021 22:35

Yes. DP double vaccinated over a year ago and I had a positive test just after my second vaccination. 11 weeks now!

ArrrMeHearties · 15/09/2021 22:35

Yes I'm currently 5 months pregnant. I fell pregnant 2wks before my 2nd jag

Ashitaka · 15/09/2021 22:35

No

Ashitaka · 15/09/2021 22:35

But then I am on Contraception

Antinerak · 15/09/2021 22:40

No but I was already infertile and Dh has had the snip so very unlikely. Sorry to warp your stats, I love being the anomaly in a graph

HugeBowlofChips · 15/09/2021 22:40

No but I would be worried if I had, as I don't have a uterus

HugeBowlofChips · 15/09/2021 22:42

Just for clarity, I didn't have a uterus before vaccination either

HopefulWashingtonImmigrant · 15/09/2021 22:45

Got pregnant with one month of trying, only a couple of months after final dose for both of us.

Chickydoo · 15/09/2021 22:45

Gotten Confused

titchy · 15/09/2021 22:49

Both double vaccinated. Not pregnant. Maybe it does make you infertile after all. Or maybe the fact that I'm post-menopause? Who knows! Maybe the human race will die out as a result!

How lovely ❤️
chuffer15 · 15/09/2021 22:50

Yes 6 weeks after my second AZ 4 weeks after my partners, we had been trying for a year.

AmyDeirdre · 15/09/2021 22:56

No. And the birth rate in this country is falling (that might be more to do with the enfored homeschooling).

Blue1876 · 15/09/2021 22:56

Yep, about a month after we both had our second jab.

How??
Erwhatno · 15/09/2021 22:59

Yep

RandomWordGenerator · 15/09/2021 23:00

No

I’m getting worried now that getting pregnant is a side affect I want aware of… (being old and using contraception aside)

RandomWordGenerator · 15/09/2021 23:00
  • wasn’t aware of
ShushShushShush · 15/09/2021 23:02

Yes

MouseholeCat · 15/09/2021 23:06

We had the jabs while I was pregnant in my first trimester, but I'm sure you'll see plenty of BFPs and pregnacies from people who are both vaccinated though.

There is no evidence that the vaccines impact fertility in any way, just in case you're one of those.

DelphiniumBlue · 15/09/2021 23:08

Yeah, I heard people saying how the vaccine had affected their fertility, when they were early 20's, single and the vaccine had only been available for a couple of months. How did they know?
I wonder, did people have other vaccines and get pregnant afterwards? Like polio, TB, MMR even? Does the Covid vaccine work in a different way to other vaccines?
