To ask you to help me choose between these...?

Hi!

Getting married next year, I can't decide for the life of me which of these two bands I prefer.
I know they are more like an eternity ring, but I have keys said that I'd love something a little more unique and these two definitely fit the bill!

Can you help me choose..? I can't decide and keep looking back and forth between them. I love them both equally! The only leading factor for the ruby is that it's my birthstone and therefore more sentimental to me, sapphire is my mums birthstone though so I suppose it's still really special.

Any preferences?

If it helps, my ring is a pear shape cluster diamond with diamond shoulders. I will pop a photo in the comments! 🙂

My ring was tricky too due to shaping so had a band custom made. Most independent jewellers can advise and sort for you :)

I think I've whittled it down to the oval shape being the shape I really like, so at least I can hopefully whittle it down a bit now!

I love the sapphire. I feel Ruby would look better with a yellow Gold. You would need to see how it sits with your other ring though

If you don't mind being unusual (and you clearly don't) why don't you wear your engagement ring on one hand and your wedding ring on the ring finger of the other hand? That way both could be the sort of high impact (and gorgeous) ring you like?

Love to know what you decided OP. I love both of the rings and agree that it would be too busy with your engagement ring but definitely a beautiful ring on their own or with a simpler wedding set.

I prefer the blue one but they are both lovely. You know you don’t have to wear it on the same finger!

I'd pick the blue, but only because I much prefer blue over red! Is there any difference in price to factor in?
Assuming they are real stones, I'd have thought rubies were more expensive than sapphires.

All 3 rings are beautiful, but neither of the bands will work with your lovely engagement ring imo.

Why don’t you choose something subtle and coordinating so your engagement ring can ‘do the talking’ so to speak? Then really go to town with something unique for your right hand as an eternity ring.

personally I don’t think either of the red or blue stones rings do it justice or go with it
id look for something to set off your engagement ring not compete with it and have a much less ostentatious embedded thinner band.
