To ask you to help me choose between these...?

Hi!

Getting married next year, I can't decide for the life of me which of these two bands I prefer.
I know they are more like an eternity ring, but I have keys said that I'd love something a little more unique and these two definitely fit the bill!

Can you help me choose..? I can't decide and keep looking back and forth between them. I love them both equally! The only leading factor for the ruby is that it's my birthstone and therefore more sentimental to me, sapphire is my mums birthstone though so I suppose it's still really special.

Any preferences?

If it helps, my ring is a pear shape cluster diamond with diamond shoulders. I will pop a photo in the comments! 🙂
@ApolloandDaphne sorry to go off thread but I love your nail varnish! What colour and make is it please if you don't mind me asking?
@Nosilayak It is Viridian Veil shellac by CND. I love it too.

You need a plain, thin wedding ring so as not to distract from your engagement ring. These rings are eternity rings and don't go with your engagement ring at all. I'd wear the blue one on my other hand.

Cocopopsss · 15/09/2021 14:47

Blue!

indecisiveastheycome · 15/09/2021 14:47

Thanks everyone. I think maybe not the two I've pointed out, then.
What a shame! They're the only ones I've found that I liked, lol!

There's some lovely suggestions from you all, so I will take a look, thank you!

Ooh! Both!

YouTubeAddict · 15/09/2021 14:51

Neither are my taste but I’d say blue is preferable.

samsmum2 · 15/09/2021 15:01

Blue definitely!

godmum56 · 15/09/2021 15:15

can i suggest that you look for something described as "pave set" ?These sink the stones into the rig for a flatter finish

godmum56 · 15/09/2021 15:15

not rig, ring

indecisiveastheycome · 15/09/2021 15:17

I've looked into pace and Chanel set but haven't found any I really like. I do love the look of high / claw set rings. It's such a shame - if I could remove one sapphire 'set' my pear would fit perfectly against the others in the blue band.

Have a look at this website, they do different shaped rings, you can choose. They also send samples to you so you can try them before:

www.weddingrings-direct.com/shaped-rings

Not sure if they can replace the diamonds with rubies or sapphires, but try giving them a call.

indecisiveastheycome · 15/09/2021 15:39

Thanks all, I wonder if having something custom made will work best for me.
I'll have a think!

I like the blue one the most!

Nutkinsnuts · 15/09/2021 16:00

Sapphire

TattiePants · 15/09/2021 16:04

I didn’t want a gap between my asscher cut engagement ring which is very angular and my wedding ring so went for this.

I'm after clicking on a link that was posted by @OneTC and went browsing and this one jumped out at me:
www.jewelstreet.com/womens-jewellery/rings/18kt-white-gold-full-eternity-ring-with-round-cut-bar-set-diamonds-i/

It is so classically elegant and with your beautiful engagement ring and your lovely slender fingers, this would look wow!

This is 👌

The torque ring posted by pp is also very cool, does it keep it's shape okay?

StopCryingYourHeartOut · 15/09/2021 16:17

I actually prefer the red, a bit more unusual.

godmum56 · 15/09/2021 16:27

can I thank the OP for this thread? lovely and cheery :)

indecisiveastheycome · 15/09/2021 16:38

Jenny Packam has some lovely wedding rings that would go with your engagement rings, some have a wiggle in them to fit around.

This one is flatter: ring

CatalinaCasesolver · 15/09/2021 17:06

Would you consider this shape? It wouldn't need to go under the engagement ring then. Not for everyone though!
