In response to to the other thread I was wondering what other Mumsnetters enjoy.

Staying at home?
Staying at home when the house is really clean and tidy?
Not having visitors in the very clean and tidy house?

I imagine there are some slightly more exciting pleasures and am hoping people will share them.

Sex with someone you love & fancy
Food when you are genuinely hungry
A run in cold autumn air
Walking along holding a small child's hand while they natter to you
A real fire
A cat on your lap
Seeing a wonderful piece of art
Singing along to favourite songs
Driving with a clear road in front of you
Clean sheets
Hot powerful showers
A funny message from someone you love

300 thread count Egyptian Cotton sheets
Getting in to said cotton sheets
A good quality mattress
The cats when they snuggle together

I would be gutted if someone who was coming for a dinner at mine couldn’t come. But then I don’t invite people I don’t like to my house for dinner!!!

I was thinking of my in-laws!

When my family are still asleep and I've been for a run, walked the dog, cleaned the kitchen and put the shopping away. Then I can relax.

LOVE this thread :) making me happy just reading it. For me, wild swimming and rollercoasters.

Tea and chocolate.

Saying something that makes DS laugh and he gets a total fit of the giggles.

Plants in the garden doing exactly what you hoped they would. Lovely flowers, lovely scent, growing away nicely.

Picking blackberries with my dog joining in and foraging the lower brambles, lovely to hear her munching away.

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens,
Bright copper kettles and warm woollen...
oh wait, it's been done.

A really good sandwich.

A whole day to myself with nothing to do. Comfy, cosy, under a duvet watching stuff I have watched a million times because I bloody love it. HEAVEN.

Finding currency in a pocket Pure joy. Even though it was your money in the first place and not free money!

I love this so much that when I'm flush I hide money for me to find at a later date. My best find was £20 that I had won on a scratch card.
