I don't mind friends boasting about their kids on FB, I quite like to cheer the kids on from a distance via their parents social media 🤣 however I cannot understand people writing posts to their husband / wife / partner as surely they live together and can say those things on person should they be that sort of human?

I hate the “I don’t want my baby to grow up” comments but I know I’m totally unreasonable so stay quiet. Watching your child grow is a privilege not everyone gets. Of course I’d never say that in rl as it sounds a bit mental.

@MintyGreenDream 🤣🤣 the other day I was at a kids group thing with my 4 year old DD (who’s now started school and was getting too old for the tots group thing admittedly) but she tried to play with another little girl who was only about 2 and she didnt wanna know. I couldn’t care less, she’s just a little kid. The dad, ffs, said to his 2 year old who was getting a bit whiny, “hey, don’t worry Poppy, you do you” in the smarmiest, weazliest, most annoying tone possible. Wanted to punch him! Arghhhhh so pathetic!

I'm getting irritated by the number of posts I'm seeing that says "Go smash year 2, beautiful girl" and "first day in reception done. He smashed it".

I don't even know why that irritates me but it does!

I wonder if these tedious parents say to their children at the school door 'Go smash it darling'? The idea that the little dear will take them literally amuses me.
