How far is too far to react? On a scale of 1 to 10 where 1 is get DD to make some better muffins and 10 is burning down the school.

They also have raisins in them, adding insult to injury IMO.

At least he put some flavour in them. DS made some curiously tasteless samosas. On closer questioning he admitted he hadn’t added any of the spices. Or carrot, or onion. So they were potato and pea wrapped in filo pastry.

I think they sound lovely. Like a twist on carrot cake. I had one recently with raisins in and it was lush!

Cinnamon is foul. It is in too many things these days. Ruins the food in our local Indian restaurant as they buy spices ready mixed in bulk and you never know what they have used any more. Not everyone can tolerate it.

Could easily be sprinkled on top so it isn't forced on people.

It isn't great if you are one of the people with an allergy to it. Not just vomit from it but swollen lips and airways etc.

Actually, I'm not sure about that TBH. But 40 years ago when I did it that's what it was called so that's what it will always be to me.

Not going to console you but I imagine that they were demonstrating that cinnamon is a natural sweetener so you can use less sugar...

They sound delicious but I do love cinnamon flavoured things. What year is she in, my experience was the higher the year group the more flexibility students had to amend the recipes. DD's worst dish she brought home was fruit salad but instead of keeping the fruit fresh using lemon juice they had to pour a whole carton of orange juice over the fruit, did make a half decent smoothie out of it though

Cinnamon 10+, raisins are the best though.
