Laurence Fox causing scaremonging and false information over Covid jabs

He stated he is ''‘Following the tragic death of BBC journalist Lisa Shaw from vaccine-related complications, and the unending lies about the efficacy and safety of the vaccine, I will not be sending my children to school until I have received a cast-iron guarantee that my children will not be vaccinated without the consent of both parents for a disease that has negligible chance of serious illness to them.‘We are in the middle of a mass delusion and it is time for people to wake up. Children’s lives are at risk.

‘However, I fully support the provision of vaccination for children in vulnerable groups with fully informed parental consent.’

A Department of Health spokesman said: ‘No decisions have been made on vaccinating 12 to 15-year-olds and it is inaccurate to suggest otherwise. Ministers have not yet received further advice from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation on this cohort.’

Now AIBU to be angry that he is misleading the public into thinking that the schools/govt are going to start vaccinating the kids without consent as nowhere was this ever stated as fact. And the govt have issues statements online to counteract the false reports online that this was not the case for under 16s and that the laws have not changed. Yet he is spreading false information rather than doing his research.

Believe he is more interested in 'playing games' and 'mind control' with his ex-wife and children through social media.

His comments recently raise a few red flags and seem to point towards some sort of coercive behaviour - re: school fees and BOTH parents having to give consent for vaccine. I wonder why he feels the need to make all his issues public?
Only my opinion

Early on in the pandemic parents were encouraged by some twats on SM to write to schools to demand in that no circumstances should their child be vaccinated by a teacher. This was even before vaccines were a twinkle in scientists eyes, and teachers don't vaccinate children anyway, it would be a HCP. So some parents are very much taken in by idiots posting on social media

I also believe this is a way to try and control his ex wife. There’s something very Fathers for Justice about him. I bet he feels he ‘rescued’ Billy from being working class and now she’s more successful than him, it enrages him.

Didn’t he once beg his brother in law Richard Ayode to publicly defend him to prove he wasn’t racist and Richard refused to be dragged into his bullshit? Christmas must be interesting seeing as the wider family is multiracial.

The man is a complete tool. It’s only a matter of time until he does something which turns all the libertarian fangirls off him for good.

As pointed out unthread the person I feel sorry for is Billie Piper.

Doubt both parents need to consent to any vaccinations.

@Dozer

Doubt both parents need to consent to any vaccinations.
Well, I was certainly never asked whether my DDs' father consented to them being vaccinated when I took them. Same with the HPV - just my signature was sufficient.
