Seen similar post about this a while back on Amazon.
Why do people buy these garments?
Why is this accepted - do women think it's cool? Do they think they'll pull wearing a top like this?
Why, when it says 'tits' is there a man modelling it?
AIBU to think this shit should not be sold anywhere in 2021?

I'd find it a bit weird and gross but not necessarily horrific.

On another Etsy note @VenusTiger , I searched for 'baby gifts' and it came up with a baby grow that said 'Daddy only wanted a blow job' and a personalised dildo. That was very disgusting.

!!!!!! How many reviews were there for that! Sick!

Etsy will suspend your account if you post Suffragette stuff but not for BDSM or child abuse merch. There's a petition about it somewhere.

As for the history of the T shirt, it originated with a shop that was run by Malcolm McLaren, it stocked clothing including BDSM gear. McLaren used to dress punk bands. Eventually they realised that wearing swastikas made them look like National Front supporters rather than edgy, and they stopped.

That's patently bollocks, since searching for "suffragette" on Etsy brings up thousands and thousands of results - jewellery, photographs, costume, dyed wool and silks, posters, sashes, badges, and t-shirts.

Accounts will not be suspended for posting suffragette items.

There's literally a petition about child abuse merch on Etsy.

You've completely misunderstood the situation - its not automatic, people have to report the merch. I'm in Etsy sellers groups and know women who have lost their account.

Etsy, when asked, will suspend accounts just because they sell suffragette material? But they won't apply the same principle to child-abuse merchandise? This does sound very much like bollocks!

Ok so I suppose plenty don't know the reference and there are a shit ton of nasty slogan t-shirts about. So people could buy it without getting the reference at all. Obviously.

I saw a horrible one once can't remember what it said but it was sex violent women type thing. With my 2 DDs who could read it....

Not fun.

Course when you're an edgy young thing you don't really consider stuff like that. But because you're horrible but because you're rather wrapped up in yourself. And it's the thing in your group.
