Gym or cleaner?

Dd starts nursery in September, only part time, but will be the first time I’ve been alone without her in 3 years.
Need to lose 2-3 stone, can’t afford to keep my cleaner and pay for a gym.
I have an exercise bike and weights in the spare room, plus have a dog to take for walks (walking isn’t enough for me to lose weight though) in the last I had to work out a few times a week to be a size 10. If I paid for a gym and got all the gear etc, I’d be more likely to force myself to go, whereas at home after dropping Dd off, I might just slump on the sofa.
I adore having my cleaner, I forsake other things to afford her.
Which one would you pay for?

Cleaner

Cleaner. Weightloss is mainly diet. Walk more or follow a programme like couch to 5k. Use time to plan and meal prep.

Cleaner surely. You've already got an exercise bike and weights, and the dog needs walking.

Cleaner.

Thanks rookiemere.

I plan to join a walking group later on but can't do this school year as youngest is just starting pre-school (half days etc). I had it in mind to drop off dc and go for a swim - something that gets me out of the house, keeps me active (with other people sort of around). I walk already and 90% of the time I walk alone, hence wanting to join a walking group for social aspect/new walks. Definitely not a runner and don't want to watch people being super fit when I'm starting from scratch. In my case, not sure if I like the idea of the gym more than actually going.

Op, I understand the concept of coming home and sitting on the sofa. I think I could quite easily do it too. My weight gain is not aided by the perimenopause and I'm a comfort eater too.

Cleaner because it saves time. Take the dog for an hour plus walk every day and use your exercise bike and weights.
