Does anyone else just not like Jason Manford?
I used to quite like him but the last little while he's really started to annoy me and I cant really say exactly why.
Obviously I dont know him personally, Im just talking about as a tv presenter/comedian. I cannot help but roll my eyes and reach for the remote when I hear his voice - am I alone?

See him quite a lot, his dad lives in the same place as me - he's always polite and happy to chat to fans

I live near where he lives. Everyone seems to think he’s amazing apart from me.

I do think he’s done a lot of important charity work though

One of my favourite comedians! Routinely has me in stitches.

I don't tune in for his personal life.

I’ve never really liked him he always seemed like a creep and a sleaze. Then I found out he actually is so I felt a bit better because before I found out he habitually cheats on his partner I felt a bit guilty somehow. I don’t know what he’s up to right now as I don’t follow him for the above reason, but if he’s being dead smug about something it doesn’t surprise me at all.

I saw him live and thought he was funny. Fairly small venue, warm up show for the main tour - came across as likeable and relatable, he interacted well with the audience.

Didn't know about the cheating. That's disappointing. I had seen about him driving in the pandemic. As a pp said, just goes to show he's a flawed human with good points and bad points.

I like him.

He's human.

Supports his children, encourages people on his weight loss group, works hard and does stuff for charity.

I liked him until he started sexting on his pregnwny wife with twins.. he went on to do it again. He's a serial cheater. I cant stand him

I find him really bland, he not particularly offensive, funny or interesting, but he doesn't bother me enough to turn the tv over.
I would not pay to see him as a comedian, or watch a his comedy on TV either.
I think he's done very well for himself, all things considering.

DS was an extra in Scarborough & Jason was really kind to him & the other extras, made them feel just as important as the other actors Smile

I knew about his charity stuff, but as pps have mentioned why does he have to broadcast it all?
I told a friend about this post and she liked him too until she commented on something on his facebook page, highlighting a sexist phrase used by someone else in the comments, and Jason replied to tell her to be quiet...couldn't deal with a feminist in any other way I suppose!! He just grates on me in every way!

He broadcasted the charity ninja stuff because he can't raise money for every cause on his own can he?! He was sharing people's Just Giving pages through his platform and people were donating and hitting targets for people.

As for the vaccination stuff, so what? He was doing it. Many people volunteered through the pandemic, and generally, and they put it on social media. Well done to them anyway! Not sure why people have to be so bitter.

I just don't understand him. He cheats, lies, makes babies without thinking and then donates to charity, drives people to hospital during a pandemic.... The guy confuses me. Maybe he has a twin?
Maybe he’s just human?

If he pays his taxes , his ok with me.
The cheating happens , it's not good of course but many people are all over the tv with less than perfect lives too.

He did a lot during lockdown , unlike others who just went on holiday ( whilst telling us lot to stay at home )

Don’t like him. A lot of his schtick is tired old ‘kids, eh?’ material that was old hat when Tom O’Connor was doing it over 30 years ago,

I’ve never liked him at all. He isn’t funny and he cheated on his wife, I always lose all respect for anyone who cheats.

9 years ago, today incidentally, he wrote the most incredible and honest (and rather long) post on Facebook defending Gary Barlow who had performed at the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games despite his Daughter Poppy being stillborn the week before.

This means I absolutely rate Jason Manford.

I find him really funny and entertaining. His cheating behaviour is pretty cringy, but it wouldn’t stop me enjoying his stand-up. It’s the business of his wives, himself and the other woman concerned.
