Lots of “social norms” ones: some adults want and expect to celebrate their own birthdays, others genuinely would rather not. Some people don't need or want a car, others absolutely do under current conditions where they live. Some people always BYOB, others generally expect the host to provide a variety/the guest’s preference. A pot luck is not inherently outrageous, although some people don’t like/would avoid them. It’s not automatically reasonable or unreasonable for your adult child to pay rent at your house; it depends on the circumstances.
Lots of food ones: any vegetables can be served with a roast, even courgettes. Lasagne can be made without béchamel sauce. It is OK for a parent to ask questions and do research before agreeing that a pre-teen can go full vegan or vegetarian. Carnivores can survive without meat for one meal, although some may strongly prefer not to. It is OK to have a dry wedding if you’re both teetotallers, but it’s also OK to serve some alcohol if your guests will drink it.
It is OK - and technically correct, in a US context - for Prince Harry to say “gotten” instead of “got”.
The (undeniable) fact that some/many women are racist and/or otherwise objectionable does NOT somehow magically exempt deliberate use of misogynist and rape apologist language from being …. well, misogynist and rape apologist.
Some men don’t use (and aren’t lying about not using) pornography.
