@Alconleigh - with difficulty! But that is an issue with some of us with ASD.

Bettyboopawoop · 26/07/2021 19:38

It's fine if your the bride have a nice day

DannyNedelko · 26/07/2021 19:41

I think it's fine to wear. Just cut a hole in the back for your arse to poke out of.

Ibelieveinghosts · 26/07/2021 19:41

Depends how you accessorise it tbh. But don’t stand in the middle at the front on the church, if you accidentally marry the groom could be tote awks!

pam290358 · 26/07/2021 19:44

Sorry sorry sorry - in my defence, I did give the skin and the pickings off the carcass to the dog. Does that count ? If I promise to try harder with stir fry, do I win the thread ?

pam290358 · 26/07/2021 19:47

You could always put on red panties and do a “Rachel” from friends. For the uninitiated that involves coming out of the ladies loo with the dress tucked into your knickers and dragging an errant loo roll behind you !!

ThePluckOfTheCoward · 26/07/2021 19:47

Op, it's ok, but a bit meh. My take is that you go big or go home. Now this would be much more suitable.

Yes that counts, assuming the dog lived on it for three days?

I think the colours fine, maybe add a cardie for a splash of colour. Not too sure about the style though. I mean, I don't think it's really appropriate to wear a dress that's slashed to the navel' to a wedding, a bit disrespectful really.

Are your DC included in the invitation? If not, I wouldn't go. Remember, it's an invitation not a summons.

Oh yes, not that is so much more fitting!!

Beautiful

pam290358 · 26/07/2021 19:50

@Sadiecow. Not even three minutes - he’s the fattest, greediest little Jack Russell in the world !!!

1forAll74 · 26/07/2021 19:51

I would wear it as a guest to a wedding, and hire a fit bloke escort to go with it, and just be glad that it's not me who is getting married,

Futureself · 26/07/2021 19:51

Is it the jewellery? Grin Grin Aw stoppit.
I think the OP has left the building

Oh I love a Jack Russell, lost ours in December 2019, still miss him so much 🥰.

If it's a JRT, I forgive you everything!

We now have a new puppy, she's a beautiful Doberman!

DoubleTweenQueen · 26/07/2021 19:54

Not as a guest, no!

UndertheCedartree · 26/07/2021 19:54

@chunderwunder

I don't know why everyone doesn't dress as a bride at weddings tbh. Make the pictures more interesting - having to guess who got hitched. Like Where's Wally - the Wedding edition.

In fact you should've given the JRT the whole chicken!!

Whiteweddingmadness · 26/07/2021 20:00

It’s perfect OP .

Why don’t you save it for each of your children’s weddings so by the time you get to number 3 and the bride to be gently asks if you have any particular colours in mind for your outfit, there is absolutely no way the look of horror spreading across the brides face can be contained?

No chance it will turn into a family joke no one dares say aloud Grin
