Random car parked on my drive!

dh has just come back from work and parked across the road. I asked why he hasn't parked on our driveway and he said he thought we had visitors.
I've gone out and there's a random car on our driveway! Knocked on neighbours door but they don't know who's it is. (They are really nice and we get on with them so they would have told them to move if it was anything to do with them).
AIBU to move the car and block them in?

I think as you still have a parking space...you should see how long you can keep CF car captured!

They got fed up with it, lost their patience and called in a bricklayer friend, who built a wall across the entrance to the drive. With someone's car on the inside.

Out of curiosity, what make/model is the car?

This happened to an acquaintance recently. The car was on their drive all night. Turned out it had been into a garage for an mot or something and the garage delivered it back, but to the wrong house. Not sure where they'd put the keys though.

I don't understand why people don't just put a note on the car saying "Cheeky fucker" and then refuse to answer the door until the next day. Sod all this engaging with the CF, saying they've had too much to drink etc. Let them get a taxi home and have to come back shame-faced in the morning.

See, I should show DH this. Once, years and years ago, DH cme home from work and asked if I'd been off sick/skiving from work as he had driven past at some point and saw (from the main road) that my car was on the drive in the middle of the day. I was at work. I think he still suspects that I decided to skive work and lie about it . It's not like if I did decide to skive it would be any of his business and if I did, I'd just say "yeah, and...?" He doesn't believe that anyone would randomly park on another person's drive..

I cannot get over the cheekiness of some people!

DH and I went to a little local restaurant today, we parked in the street behind which had ample spaces available (at both 7:30 and 9pm when we returned) and I even felt bad about parking in the street! They probably get a quite few restaurant goers but it’s not permits and no drives and we parked sensibly so we are within our right to do so but still! 😬
