Would you be bothered if someone said bloody in front of your 11 year old?

Not really thinking, at a party. No younger kids heard. Would you be overly offended? It wasn't me or my child involved but I think at 11 I wouldn't have minded my children hearing that. What's everyone else's thoughts?

My mil says bloody hell in front of my 4yo which bothers me but at 11 I'd assume a child has heard and probably said worse

I would be amazed if 11 years olds are'nt using bloody and worse out of adult earshot!!! I have always thought it very naive to think kids dont swear but that they dont swear in front of grown-ups! Which is testament to their understanding of appropriate!

I don’t count ‘bloody’ as swearing. Then again, I don’t think ‘fart’ and ‘damn’ are either but some seem to think so.

It wouldn't bother me. I enjoy the full use of our rich and varied language.
