Ok, so I am really cross that the previous thread got deleted. It had a lot of helpful links. This concerns child abuse and safeguarding and I am still aghast that this can happen.

A predatory male buys a boarding school (allegedly through various holding companies)

he installs somewhere between 500 and 700 cameras around the building, including in areas where children get changed

he abuses children

his lawyer threatens to sue MN when women tried to discuss anything negative about the school

He got appointed to Chairman of the Governors which meant that he could help write the safeguarding policies.

He managed to get off from charges the first time

How can this be allowed to happen? As parents we need to know that our children are safe. I think this should be used as an example of how important all safeguarding principles are!

So what would you say to someone applying to work at this school?

Didn't the workmen who installed the cameras question what they were doing

This whole thing sounds horrific!

I used to work there and I commented on the original thread.

They have a dragon as their company lawyer who doesn’t shy away from scare tactics and bullying. They are horrid.
But when they’ve got parents paying in the region of £40k a year for their child to be educated at that place then I guess they’ll do everything they can to protect their bank account.
Peoples lives don’t matter to them. They don’t care that employees or pupils have been affected by what’s gone on. All they care about is £.

I experienced my own issues at that place. Of course when I raised it I was a liar. I’ve kept every letter just in case.
I have never and will never work in such a place ever again.

So much I could spill on this establishment, along with many others who were burnt by this place but I’m a big believer in karma. The right time will come. And it will be done without the fire breathing dragon throwing threats left right and centre.

People still send their children there knowing what happens?
