How could you not know any mums who had kids when in their 20s nearly 40 years ago? [/quote]
What are you talking about nearly 40 years ago? Where did that come from? I'm taking about parents of kids around here, not back in history.

@Hardbackwriter I get that it won't be same as when I was 20 .
When I was 20 I couldn't afford to go around South America for 2 years so we went around Europe with baby in tow.
My children won't need me for childcare as they have good paying jobs and I'm mortgage free.
So the only thing stopping me going is covid at the moment, hence the reason I'm waiting another 18 months.

No, it’s not the same. It’s better. I’m very happy to have been spared filthy hostels, carrying a huge backpack, getting ripped off and worrying about every penny I spend. Not to mention being hassled by lecherous men - although that happened in Cairo in my 40s anyway.

Zandathepanda · 06/07/2021 00:18

The PM will be 73 for presumably his youngest at the moment and was around 46 for possibly his oldest Grin

His oldest is 26 - I make that 29 when they were 18.
Zandathepanda · 06/07/2021 00:33

Surely he didn’t start at 11?!Confused
