I'm already there 45 for Dd and 47 for ds. It's strange mostly because all my friends had kids after me and most have kids in primary school.

I'm envious. I am 51 now with an 18 year old.
I do wish I'd had her a bit earlier. I SEE my 50s as a decade of freedom and suiting myself (in my mind's eye) but the reality is that I'm still quite bound by responsibility. DC2 only 15

I joke with DH he needs to start saving, my DDs 21st, DS 18th and my 50th are all within 3 months of each other!

I had DD as a teen then settled down and married mid twenties, had DS at 29 and will be 31 when I have the baby I'm now pregnant with!
