I will be 55 when DD is 18, but less than two weeks later I will be 56.

My mum was always one of the eldest mums. She had me at 26 and I was that age when I had dd.

Wow! I hardly know anyone who had kids in their 20s. I'll be 55 and 56 when mine turn 18 and most of their friends parents will be 50 at least.

This is interesting, everyone seems to be fairly young which isn't what I see when I look at the Mum's around me at all, and I don't live in an affluent area where you would expect to find older parents. Maybe the younger people are keener to answer?

59. The youngest mum of my NCT group of 8 will be 51, not sure if that’s indicative of the area we live in or pot luck as the average age of women giving birth as the hospital was substantially over 30.

Have 4 DC's - my age at their 18th's ranges from 44-60!

Most women I know had children about the same age as me (early to mid 30s). I don't have any friends or relatives who had dc in their 20s. My dm had me when she was 28 and my dsis when she was 33.
