Thank goodness Polly.co.uk has figured out how to market to women. I hope their policy documents also come in emoji formats because my lady brain really appreciates it.

Also that’s where I’ve been going wrong! Of course buying lipstick instead of life insurance is bad. I see the error of my ways. Thank you Polly, I’ll be better.

YANBU

That 'ad' is awful!!

I really must refine my communication skills, @TheDevils and also be a wee bit less visceral.

My hackles were put up by being told that we should not criticise long working hours because the PP had no trouble at all having a family and long working hours. As I mentioned, I saw the effects of long working hours being introduced in Mexico and 90% of women were unable to stay in executive roles. Of course we have a lot more single parent families here.

I'm certainly not criticising women that use childcare. My own dd was in a nursery from three months old, but we were all, men and women, able to pick our children up before four pm.

I wonder if their advertising budget needs topping up? 🤔
