This was shared in a school FB group for parents, I said I thought it was inappropriate for the group since it's meant for discussing school related things.

That looks familiar. I think I saw it at work about 15-20 years ago.

Mummyoflittledragon · 25/06/2021 10:48

@Rachelheels

I really hope once Covid is over I am never at the same party as any of you lot
Yes this is not your demographic Rachel. We have integrity and social awareness.
UmamiMammy · 25/06/2021 10:49

Definitely inappropriate!!!

whatistheworld · 25/06/2021 10:54

no wonder some kids are awful bullies, look at the parents

MrsExpo · 25/06/2021 10:54

OMG!!! .... utterly inappropriate for this audience. Actually ... totally un-funny for any audience. Grim!!

babbaloushka · 25/06/2021 10:54

Troglodytic humour and completely inappropriate. I can picture the type of man person amused by that.

ArrrMeHearties · 25/06/2021 10:55

Not funny in any way shape or form at all

BobLemon · 25/06/2021 10:57

Grim.

I’m kind of waiting for the people who like these things to die out. My own parents would think it was funny and if challenged would launch into a “people these days” stream of bile. I love them, but their values are not my values and as they get older their minds seem more and more closed to change.

Half a generation older than them, my aunties and PILs would also laugh and then share their racist post with “lets see whose brave enuf to share” written on it Hmm

I love these people, even if I don’t love their views.

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 25/06/2021 11:06

It is disgusting, and it needs a trigger warning in the title Sad Angry

Mousetown · 25/06/2021 11:08

Grim and not funny. I’m a rape victim.

The only people I imagine find this funny are the type to reminisce about the days when you could make racist jokes on TV, and think Jim Davidson is the height of comedy.

Hopefully their children will be more enlightened.

Dear lord, it’s not that bad 🙄 I’ve not seen it before, found it a little bit amusing. A parents WhatsApp is obviously not the place to post it though.
Mousetown · 25/06/2021 11:12

I’ve not seen it before, found it a little bit amusing

Genuinely interested, what do you find amusing about it?

Trouvaille · 25/06/2021 11:17

Gross, and with ha ha reactions too.

PatchyTwat · 25/06/2021 11:20

43 year old rape victim here with herpes as a result of the rape (which is unfairly stigmatised as it’s a sodding coldsore ultimately!).

I’m not offended because you can only choose to take offence, but it is absolutely vile and does re-kick in those feeling of being less than nothing as a person because of something you couldn’t prevent.

It’s not appropriate for the group.

And more importantly while I have a terrible black humour, and win cards against humanity frequently, it’s just not actually funny. It’s one of those shit “I’m so crazy me!” Jokes that actually shows the person posting it has the intellectual ability of a celery stick.

CyberGhost · 25/06/2021 11:25

I'm not one for trigger warnings and such but that could be VERY fucking triggering.

Disgusting.

Rooman · 25/06/2021 11:27

Not offended by it but also don't find it funny.

I would think the person who shared it was an idiot and would definitely not let my kids have a play date at theirs (I feel like Katie Hopkins!)

Doublestar · 25/06/2021 11:28

I think it’s funny.

But I’m not a snowflake or called Karen

No, but you are probably about 12, maybe 13 years old? In fact, scrap that, even my 13 yo wouldn't find it funny!

I'm pretty laidback and consider myself hard to shock but that email is just inappropriate and juvenile. I'd probably assume the people posting it/finding it funny are a bit..erm..well thick really.

PhilSwagielka · 25/06/2021 11:30

Yeaaaahhh, that's not something you share in a parent group. Maybe with your mates but not in something as public as that. You never know what triggers people may have. And it's not very funny, not for me anyway.

PhilSwagielka · 25/06/2021 11:31

PS No, I am not a snowflake just because I don't think rape jokes are funny. I have quite a dark sense of humour, but this crap just made me roll my eyes.

TinyTear · 25/06/2021 11:32

Sort of crap my dad would find funny... and would make sure to share far and wide...

IAmAWomanNotACis · 25/06/2021 11:32

I think I would have to tell them that I found it highly inappropriate to be honest. I'm sure (I hope) that you wouldn't be the only one to feel that way.

For those calling the people offended by it snowflakes and karens - the fact that you are prepared to call people that says everything we need to know about you.

IAmAWomanNotACis · 25/06/2021 11:34

By the way I haven't been raped and I find it vile. Most people who have the slightest amount of empathy for rape victims would wince.

Mousetown · 25/06/2021 11:42

No, but you are probably about 12, maybe 13 years old? In fact, scrap that, even my 13 yo wouldn't find it funny

My 11 yo nephew tells me the Karen thing is over and it’s only adults who haven’t caught up doing it now. Embarrassing.

NewlyGranny · 25/06/2021 11:48

Totally inappropriate, if creative. With these things, though, the person posting it almost certainly didn't create it but has just copied it from somewhere they've been hanging out.

Thirtyysomething · 25/06/2021 11:50

Let me start by saying I am not easily offended but it’s just not funny... and as others have said totally inappropriate.
