Simple as that. Not proud of my behaviour. I just exploded and while i certainly drank enough to out party the elderly white singer im allegedly related to... Am i being unreasonable to to flee the country as to escape the humuliation?

These arent the closest of friends but certainly a nice group of ladies. It's either i die or postshop photos of myself into some of his later days and hooe no one wonders why i haven't aged in 20 years ..Im shocked no one has clocked on the age difference.

Oh God. Back to sobriety Confused

I went on a bender a few weeks ago .
Texted an ex -demanded he take me somewhere posh because I was fed up of lock down .
Was wearing my walking trousers a vest top and boots .
He arrived and took me to a gorgeous restaurant in his flash car.
People in the garden sipping champagne stared as we walked in ....ordered most expensive wine on the menu ....ate hardly anything and had to get out of the car as he drove me home ...had a wee at the side of the road !....shame Confused

@Wantubackforgood that's brilliant. Was he dressed smartly. Did you accept his offer or are you hosting from him forever more? 😆

Skysblue · 21/06/2021 12:36

🤣🤣 Just tell the truth, your friends will think it’s hilarious

Ddot · 26/06/2021 18:29

Just admit to it, say I'm a complete walter Mitty after a drink, please take whatever I say when pissed as complete bollocks.
Your not alone dear, I once rode my friend like a donkey on the dance floor, not an inkling till someone mentioned it days later, flashback 🤯

You are what girly night outs are all about. I wish I had friends who got sloshed and pretended they were related to cliff Richard (or maybe someone cooler)

I absolutely LOVE this!!!! It makes me feel I'm not alone in ridiculous drunk behaviour! I think in this situation I would maybe make a joke of it and say "wow ladies, I drank so much I genuinely believed I was a hero" and leave it at that! If they are the type of group to be mean about u getting hammered then screw them! I learnt a long time ago that the friends worth keeping are the ones you are excited to hear from, and those that give you anxiety are best left in the past! However I realise you are probably beating yourself up about this drunken blunder, so maybe send a group message along the lines of "omg I have no recollection of last night except to say I am a saint which I'm clearly not!", they will laugh and if they don't sack them off! I have done far worse than this when hammered so be kind to yourself, and if you want a friend to party with hit me up! 😜😂😂 Xx

Maybe we should organize a MN night out after covid is gone, I'm in.

I love this post Smile i don't drink any more for precisely this reason but I still love this fabulous post - sending a big hug ❤️
