I don’t know, maybe I need to get out more but I struggle to get that excited about other female artists atm because I just find their voices so weak and meh compared to hers

I think it’s a shame you don’t really get to hear her full talent in a lot of her songs.

To be fair, I DID say I know IABU in that not everyone will like her, I also listed about 5 other singers on this thread that I think match her in vocal ability/ talent (with undoubtedly better dictation) Alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson, Mariah Carey, Beyonce etc. But for me, Ariana’s voice I do just love. I’m not being ‘touchy’ I just genuinely wish I could get the hype surrounding Gaga as I’ve been perplexed for years, but every time I hear one of her songs or her singing live...I just feel bored. If people are allowed to voice their dislike of the singers that I’ve mentioned, surely I’m allowed to do the same?

get on youtube and listen to some decent artists that aren't marketed to 12 year olds. Give Janis Joplin and Etta James a listen
