To think Ariana Grande is the best female vocalist there is atm?

Every time I hear her sing live my mind is blown! I’ve just seen the live version of ‘Save your tears’ that she did with The Weekend last week... I don’t know, maybe I need to get out more Grin but I struggle to get that excited about other female artists atm because I just find their voices so weak and meh compared to hers Blush

I think it’s a shame you don’t really get to hear her full talent in a lot of her songs.

I struggle to understand a lot of what she's singing ! I agree with Gaga, she is so talented !! I love remember us this way from a star is born, just amazing

I think her voice is really awful. I was cringing when she sang at Aretha Franklin’s funeral - so bad.

Agree her diction is awful, she needs to work on that but I watched a video if her on YouTube where she admits this herself.

Yes! I would listen to her Spotify playlist while I was decorating a few months ago, loved the tunes but couldn’t actually understand a word she was saying- similar to Mariah Carey and Michael Jackson.

Also- the lyrics to 34+35, can’t believe it got released as a single, even the radio edit!

According to Wikipedia, AG is the most streamed female artist of all time, so clearly I’m not alone in thinking she’s good Grin

I accept that I may BU in some people’s eyes, I guess it all comes down to personal taste.

Just found this too, never seen it before. Her and the weekend just casually singing ‘Love me harder’ (love that song!) with just a guy with an acoustic guitar m.youtube.com/watch?v=DVnz9iyolLA amazing (IMO) very effortless and natural.

I should have been more clear - Beyoncé is only STILL famous cos of her marriage. Otherwise she’d have faded away after destiny’s child like the other 2 did.
Seriously, I can’t think of one decent song. Shouty horrible stuff.

See, that was a lovely performance and she can sing, certainly, but I was just a bit bored by it Blush the people in the background weren’t sticking about too long either (though appreciate it’s a train station so may have had trains to catch) so not sure they were entirely captivated either! But yes, no denying she can sing but it just doesn’t move me in the way that AG’s, Christina’s, Whitney’s, Mariah’s vocals do. Clearly I have a ‘type’

She can sing well but her diction is terrible but I’m not sure whether it’s a style thing. I watched little mix the search last year and I was surprised how well they could sing.

Two of little mix are pregnant in that second video both with biggish bumps. I'm amazed at the control they have. Neither of them sound out of breath. They are phenomenal vocalists but perrie stands out for me.

Florence Welch just wails.

Personally I think JoJo has a really beautiful voice. It’s such a shame her career went the way it did.
