Posting here for traffic...

Doesn't matter if you're already married, never getting married...I just need help and inspiration! I've listened to so much and can't find anything I like. I need to find some new stuff so I am crowdsourcing, hoping someone comes up with a gem.

What would you walk in and out of your ceremony to? (Civil, not church).

In You're so cool by hans zimmer
Out First Day of my life by bright eyes.

We had a fantastic piano player at our venue, which had a grand piano.

I walked in to Let There Be Love, Nat King Cole.

He played What A Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong for signing the register.

We walked out to Bring Me Sunshine!

In was Handel's air from water music, out to Elbow One Day Like This.

Both played by string quartet hired from the local music school so one of our wedding bargains.

ChampionOfTheSun · 13/06/2021 22:14

We had orchestral/string quartet versions of the songs we picked, I chose quite differentsongs and wanted them all to "match". I walked in to Canon in D, signing of the register was to Perfect by Ed Sheeran and then we walked out to A Million Dreams from The Greatest Showman. Our first dance was to The Book of Love by Peter Gabriel.

I saw someone early on mentioned vitamin string quartet, if your unsure on traditional or 'actual song' check them out, they're incredible!

Dresssos · 13/06/2021 22:28

I'm a member of a string quartet - would you like me to list all the most popular songs that brides have requested over the past few years?

I walked in to At Last by Etta James, had enter sandman by Metallica and Paradise City by guns and roses for signing the register and we walked out to highway to hell. We loved it, and so did our friends, but my mother was mortified 😂😂. Apparently she’s still mortified 10 years later 😂😂

Traditional church wedding. We're both musical as are many of our friends.

In - Flourish for Wind Band by Vaughan Williams
Out - Hornpipe from Water Music by Handel
Hymns - Lord of All Hopefulness
- O Praise Ye The Lord
Register - Ombra Mi Fu from Xerses by Handel

We realised that later that everything was in 3/4 time which is not easy to walk in or out to!! Our old music teacher played the organ for us. Silver wedding this year.
