I live in Blackpool and there is a new retail park being built near me. Taco Bell are going to be in 1 of the units and I can't wait! I'm going to get a massive bag of burritos and soft tacos and a quesadilla.

Its taking forever though. The retail park was proposed a few years ago and they still haven't started building. 😩

Hidden Valley Ranch. I wish you could buy it over here instead of that Newman's ranch which is the only one I can ever find. I have to make DH stock up on it when he's over there for work.

You can! My friend found some and ordered it as a gift. American Grocer and USA food store seem to stock it.

Yes, we got a Taco Bell near us now, absolutely crap, not a patch to the original one.

We also have Taco Bell and Dennys

Candied pecans are lovely.

I was never that impressed by the food at Taco Bell. Chipotle Mexican Grill is probably the best of the chains, and our local place is better than either, but with a much smaller menu.

We do homemade mac & cheese with a recipe I got from my mother.

I really dislike Taco Bell and agree Chipotle is considerably better.
We live in an area with a lot of local restaurants as does much of the USA to be fair.

I miss sour beer, so many different flavours. You can get some here in the U.K. but it’s not the same. The bars in Boston have an amazing array of craft beers. I also miss crunchy Cheetos, you can get a pale imitation in Costco but they aren’t the same. I prefer American crisps in general too. Although maybe it’s because they come in enormous bags...

I prefer Qdoba to Chipotle, mainly because we've had such terrible experience with waiting forever for food at Chipotle. But our local Qdoba just closed :-(

Portland ME is groaning with the weight of all its craft beer breweries and food trucks. It's achingly trendy. We had battered sausages and chips with our trendy beer the other day. And a deep fried twix. I remember when you could only buy Budweiser type beers in the US, and hard cider could not be found anywhere. Now there's craft beer, craft cider, craft mead...

Bob's Red Mill Honey Almond Granola! I have some on my yogurt for breakfast.

And I love a really cold drink with lots of ice. According to my DH, when he lived in London ice was dispensed very sparingly in the drinks he got.

I've had the caramel ones a few times. From Asda and Tesco. Sainsburys might have them too.

Taco Bell - why, just why, don't we have Taco Bell in the UK ?

There’s one in Central London on Baker Street across the street from Baker Street Tube Station.

I know. My husband reminded me there was one in Newcastle and various other places in the U.K.. I was never into Taco Bell. Never understood the hype. I like a few things but not enough to miss it. I was actually shocked to see the one on Baker Street after never seeing one here and I’ve been in England for almost a decade and go to Newcastle several times a year, but wasn’t really looking for one either.
