MIL looked after 9 month old DD for the first time last weekend and DH and I went down the pub for our first baby free evening out since she was born. We both agreed that the first sip of my wine/his pint with no baby around was probably the best moment we’d had as a couple in 2021, bedroom stuff included Grin

Absolute silence would be perfect right now. DH taking our DDs out for the day and me sitting in a pristinely clean and tidy house, in silence, doing whatever I want with no one needing me. That would be bliss!

Oh and a full night’s sleep without waiting for 8mo DD2 to wake us up.
