I HATE my wedding dress

I'm getting married next month, my dress has arrived and I hate it. I need to find a new one and fast. Please help?

I have toyed with the idea of non-white dresses, at this rate I'm open to anything. Ideally wanted a midi length pale dress that doesn't look like a bridesmaid dress (The one I have bought is blush and floaty and bridesmaidy). :( :(

@xela21 I think you need to stop thinking of it as a “wedding dress” and think of it as a dress that makes you feel good.

Look at the shapes and colours you would like if going to any fantasy event. A bridesmaid dress can look like a dress in a different scenario. And unless others are wearing the same as the dress you pick, it won’t be bridesmaidy.

I know you don't want bridal dress but monsoon have a beautiful range of understated bridal dresses. Also some nice fancy ones in other colours.

If I were spending £300 on a beautiful dress I'd be looking in Hobbs.

I think champage/gold is definitely the answer, I'm slightly less insistent on the midi length now though (what colour shoes would you pair with a pale gold dress?)

@xela21 - I love that Ghost dress in silver, I think it is actually really bridal in that colour! Really elegant, if that's what you're aiming for! I like the gold dress but it looks more like a formal gown for an evening do than a wedding dress, but maybe that's just me. I'm sorry, I can't advise on accessories as am hopeless at that kind of thing.
