Silly cow. It's a kids bike, a carriage and a dog blanket. They were out as I was cleaning the boot of the car. IABU to tell her to feck off? We're in a cul de sac. She has nothing better to do than look out of her window. Clearly.

If those objects are blocking her view, can I ask if she's a very small person.
Could you suggest a box for her to stand on, perhaps that would help.

halfhope · 18/05/2021 12:19

'There is a tiny elderly Korean lady in my garden and I want to go out..' as one MNetter put it once...

sueelleker · 18/05/2021 12:19

*That is wonderful, my son and his fiancé have a young Bernese and I think she needs a carriage, is that yours?
She could bring home the shopping, couldn't she *
I think Bernese are absolutely gorgeous.

Just when you think people can’t get any batshitter (new word) …

castemary · 18/05/2021 12:21

What amazes me is that 4% of MN things YABU.

skybluee · 18/05/2021 12:21

You can't see anything.
She's being weird.

Titterofwit · 18/05/2021 12:22

I was willing to cut her some slack thinking she was anxious about waiting for the postman or a delivery van turning into your road. But since it looks like you are at the head of the cul de sac I have no clue why she needs to even look in your direction.
I agree with PPs - pile it up with as any bizarre things are you can find.

EmbarrassingMama · 18/05/2021 12:25

Time for a weekend long yard sale.

freakyfridays · 18/05/2021 12:26

She is lucky she doesn't live next to one of the MN posters who prefer leaving their rubbish bins at the front for the world to admire Grin

freakyfridays · 18/05/2021 12:27

@Thelnebriati

what kind of carriage?
my neighbours are very boring, I'd love to see that from my windows Smile
Mrgrinch · 18/05/2021 12:28

I'd love to hear what you said back to her!

FatCatThinCat · 18/05/2021 12:28

The worst part of this OP is that now you're going to have to leave them on your drive forever.

halfhope · 18/05/2021 12:30

DH has just suggested that you buy the biggest ugliest garden gnome you can find and place it there...

LemmysAceCard · 18/05/2021 12:32

@idontlikealdi

Oh I would so be adding to that, drag out a mattress or something!
ooh i have DD's old bed complete with mattress in a store cupboard waiting to go to the tip, i would be more than happy to bring it round and dump it in OP;s garden - purely to wind the neighbour up of course!
Iamnotavicar · 18/05/2021 12:35

We had that too - neighbours asked us to store our (brand new) caravan somewhere else as it "lowered the tone". Or at least get a cover to hide it. We asked if they'd be willing to pay for a contribution, they said no. So it's always been fairly prominent in our driveway 😁

FunnyWonder · 18/05/2021 12:36

Has she not got anything better to do with her time than stare at your house? I would ask her if she's stalking you!

LouiseBelchersBunnyEars · 18/05/2021 12:39

Add more things daily, Frank the Christmas Gargoyle style

Bobbiebigbum · 18/05/2021 12:42

@halfhope great minds think alike......
I was going to have to leave the stuff for ever @FatCatThinCat but luckily I have procured a place marker.

I have a giant mirror you can borrow, point it towards her house now that should freak her out.

ivykaty44 · 18/05/2021 12:46

we have a nosey neighbour tree opposite, the household planted it purposely to stop the neighbours looking out the window...

GlitterBicuits · 18/05/2021 12:46

I'm so disappointed in the carriage.

Please try harder.

Bobbiebigbum · 18/05/2021 12:48

@GlitterBicuits I wonder if cinders has one going spare.

Stillfunny · 18/05/2021 12:48

I suppose with her binoculars they do look a lot bigger.

WingingItSince1973 · 18/05/2021 12:48

This is hilarious. I remember Asda used to do a family of giant gnomes. I would have to buy some and have them stare at her from your drive.
