Got this 'friend' who is the first to jump in at every opportunity to say 'oh, you've done that wrong'.

One of her hallmarks is calling you out when you've supposedly let others down.

Her call out today on a WA group is when I've said after watching Bohemian Rhapsody how tragic for poor Freddie Mercury to die at such a young age from aids.

Her response? Spoiler alert! 'Ruined that for me now'. It's a public fact not a work of fiction. What next, letting her know the titanic sinks!

Any suggestions on a response that is better than F off?

Not defending her at all but when Mercury died I'd never heard of him!!!! My radio hasn't been off Radio 4 for many years Someone in the 80s asked if I wanted to go to a 'Queen' concert, No, never heard of them! Wish now I'd gone, came to like Queen too late I suppose.

Even if it was a fictional film, there's generally a timeframe after which you expect anyone with a real interest in a film to have seen it, and anyone else to not be particularly bothered about spoilers.

Like, I found out the ending of Sixth Sense a few years after it came out and I hadn't seen it. I didn't care because it had been YEARS. I could hardly complain, by that point!

And yes, Bohemian Rhapsody came out 3 years ago already.
