I’ll start.

I’m a 30-something middle class white woman drinking Pinot and listening to Dido while her DH is working away.

I’m also wearing a Breton-striped jumper and love naice ham.

What have I become?

Your turn

I'm Australian and light my barbecue any chance I get. I am also very possessive and won't allow anyone else near her as I know exactly what I'm doing and I don't need some British fucker trying to move things around.
I also get my dad to send me regular parcels of tim tams (like penguins but not shit), shapes and vegemite.

CoRhona · 08/05/2021 23:54

Work in a school; read The Guardian.

Lefty McLiberal, that's me Grin

RoseRedCityHalfAsOldAsTime · 09/05/2021 00:30

@Spied

Helicopter parent. Pre-teen dc. Polishing the school shoes, checking the school WhatsApp, making sure homework is done 'properly' and looking forward to shopping for pencil cases and stationary. All on a Saturday afternoonHmm. Still discussing Friday's spelling test and interogatingtrying to discretely gage whereabouts ds sits in the spelling results hierarchy.
Those words should be 'stationery,' 'discreetly' and 'gauge' - sorry @Spied, I will have to move you to the B group for spelling!
RoseRedCityHalfAsOldAsTime · 09/05/2021 00:31

(and 'interrogating')

Surferofwaves · 09/05/2021 05:58

I'm vegetarian

Marmalady75 · 09/05/2021 07:39

Middle aged and love a pair of comfortable shoes, a bob and a glass of Pinot Grigio.

Proud mama bear - don’t even look at my child the wrong way, but I’ll also stealth boast about their achievements.

Couch potato - I have a gym membership and sometimes I’ll even check the timetable for classes (on my phone during an ad break), but obviously I don’t actually go there.

Another angry redhead here. Prone to rage

Chocolateandamaretto · 09/05/2021 08:54

I work in a library and I hate noise, excessively shhh people and love silence. Also an avid reader. All true and I have no problem with it! Plus I love a dowdy cardigan Grin

@ZednotZee

I have five children and am drowning in laundry. My house resembles a fifties launderette.

Spied · 09/05/2021 10:40

@RedRoseCityHalfAsOldAsTime

How embarrasing embarrassing.

FastFood · 09/05/2021 10:50

I'm a designer, I live in an up-and-coming area, I love indie music, I cycle in London but you would never see me in lycra, I own several Supreme items, my flat is minimalist but I have fancy prints on my walls.
I voted labour and buy surdough bread in my local organic grocery / coffee shop.

CounsellorTroi · 09/05/2021 10:59

I’m Welsh and I love rugby and singing.

DancingDolly · 09/05/2021 11:00

47yr old working mother who likes drinking wine, running, the allotment, mooching round nice independent shops and stopping for coffee. Thinking of re training as a therapist

ItsAllAboutTheParsley · 09/05/2021 11:01

Yet another ginger, hair trigger, also three books on the go, messy house (there’s always something more interesting to do), just off to the museum for first time this year! Work stuff piled up on table, research paper on chair, Clark’s trainers on feet, Boden top, weird linen trousers from a local artisan coop. Hair in messy bun, specs on!
DP in study facetiming his Nonna, sipping his (late) breakfast cappuccino whilst writing down her recipe for Sunday sauce for the dinner. Then he’s off to deliver flowers to his mamma. And get fed cake because he’s ‘too thin.’

joystir59 · 09/05/2021 11:07

I'm a lesbian and wear men's jumpers and have very short hair. But so do lots of my straight friends...

Arrowheart · 09/05/2021 11:24

Breton top wearing, Guardian reading vegan obsessed with crime drama and crochet.

Claricethecat45 · 09/05/2021 11:42

Im a reluctant and getting older just turned 61

STILL wearing my skinny jeans albeit expensive, Mother, IBrand etc, T Shirts, vests and suede chelsea boots and leather jacket

I haunt All Saints land similar looking for stuff I would have bought 10-20 years ago now and if spoken to by assistants or offered help, I say Im looking for a treat for my 'daughter' ( who happens to be exactly my size, luckily)

I have no daughters, just grown up Sons. I Lie. It gets worse with each passing year despite regular highlights, bio-denticle HRT and feeling like Im 37 'inside'.....considering a mini face lift and veneers - but will deny deny deny if asked ...

Roadtohades · 09/05/2021 11:52

I'm a middle-class pensioner. Spend all my time gardening. Flowers

MoesBar · 09/05/2021 11:59

Scientist with an immaculate lab and work space, extremely organised at work/whilst studying.

House looks like I’m losing a game of Jumanji and I can’t organise it for shit.

Can do complex scientific things but cannot do anything basic like change a lightbulb without fucking it up.

Both are common from talking to colleagues.

I live in a hipster area, wear dungarees, drink iced coffee, and my DC are “woke”, whatever that means.

Giggorata · 09/05/2021 12:07

I'm an ex hippy of retirement age, who is also a feminist (a proper one, not libfem), a pagan and has a house full of books. I have taken part in direct action environmental and anti nuke protests and I garden.
(I have some elements in me that break the stereotype, fortunately.)

SomethingAboutNothing · 09/05/2021 12:37

Another angry redhead here 🔥 also a stubborn Taurus. My poor family.

Degustibusnonestdisputandem1 · 09/05/2021 12:43

I'm 42 and have moved back from the U.K. to a cottage on my parent's farm in Oz. I know full well how over privileged I am 😶
