What is the most you have ever won?

Just out of curiousity what is the most you have ever won? Whether that be in a competition or on the lottery?

I can't even win £1 on a scratch card 🤣 I'm just wondering if people actually ever won anything?

Ps I'm not a gambler nor do I intend to gamble, this is purely just following a conversation me and my friend were having earlier.

I am not sure if this counts, but if you remember IT boxes in pubs (quiz machines) myself and my DP would never walk out of a pub with less money than when we walked in. Would pay for a full nights drinking plus a smoking, plus a couple of quid to get a kebab

bought a second hand TV as we had been doing without

£100 voucher after doing a MN product test.

The same week I won a Facebook competition for a trolley dash around a toy shop (for ds)
He got about £300 worth of toys. (Thank god the staff were chucking stuff in his trolley he was useless )

I once won a book on Tractor pulling in a raffle…

About £80 on the lottery, two different occasions. The first time was in the days when you handed over the ticket and got cash and I did that in Sainsbury’s and it bought me fillet steak, wine and chocolate that week

I won a weekend for 2 at Champneys Health Spa with meals and a full set of treatments etc. I think it was a competition in She magazine around 15 years ago. Fantastic prize - really enjoyed it - as did my sister who I took with me.

That was second prize! The first prize was a week in St Lucia...

I won dinner for two in a nice restaurant once. I win small amounts fairly regularly on my premium bonds. I think that’s it! The most excited I’ve ever been about a prize was when I won a little raffle at my primary school to take home the bean plant we’d been growing in class. It’s one of my earliest memories, I was so pleased!

I won some ballet tickets on mumsnet, and was on a jubilant high for ages!

I won 3500$ once in the casino. We went for a bit of fun with 100$ each. I went up and down and still had my 100 when we were about to leave. Walked by the roulette table and said to my friend “i have a strong feeling about 12” he told me as a joke i should put my 100 on and i did!
That was the only time i ever won a lot of money.

£950 at a mecca bingo club! Had just bought new house and needed a TV so used some of it to buy a fancy one

I won £40 the first time I went to a casino.. put £1 in a roulette machine and put it all on one number!

My cousin (regular gambler) who took me wasn't happy but I walked away as soon as I won it - treated us all to a cinema trip - and have never been back to a casino since!

I seem to have quite lucky premium bonds and get £25 most months, one month I got £175, I was over the moon

£2500 on the lottery about 20 years ago.

€600 on a bet on the grand national (I picked the winner one year but lost every year since so I don’t do it anymore). Other than that £40 on a scratch card.

I entered a comp for theatre tickets for our am dram group 20 years ago and won. There were 5 prizes and 3 entrants... was a great night out.

I won about £700 on a slot machine in Vegas with a 50cent bet, I was so excited! Small fry for Vegas but made for a great night out!

My husband won a trip for us to be flown to Finland for the recording of the grand tour in its first series. We were put in a hotel and had activities put on around filming, it was brilliant fun.

My grandpa won the lottery jackpot - few million but part of a syndicate. Still a lot of money and the sort of thing you never think will happen to you / someone you know!
