What's that all about? It doesn't sound very homely.

OK, I just Googled 'Mean Girls' and it appears to be a teen film from over 15 years ago... still not sure why it's suddenly a fashion in decor.

Honestly, I think Mean Girls is the cleverest, most astutely written film I have ever watched. It's a masterful analysis of the social dynamics of girl bullying and an excellent critique of a variety of adult responses to teen issues. I'm not remotely joking. It's dismissed as a teen chick flick but if the subject weren't teenage girls it would be universally recognised as the work of genius that it is.

I concur that it's a weird quote to have as part of your home decor, even from someone who knows and loves the film, but perhaps it's thirty year olds suddenly having the money to decorate? Mean Girls isn't just some old film, it's a cultural icon for my generation and an important example of social satire alongside being a cracking story with some very funny writing.

If you haven't already, please at least watch the trailer. I highly recommend it as a film.
