I was really hoping for some flashback to why on earth Kate and Jo fled the scene of Ryan’s shooting last week.
I think it was because they thought Ryan could’ve told the OCG where they were luring Kate to, so they thought they would’ve found there so that’s why they ran (but I also completely agree it didn’t make a hell of a lot of sense and wasn’t explained at all)

I was waiting for an OMG moment where we uncovered someone that was a bit of a surprise. We already knew Buckles was a wrong one

I enjoyed it. Good to have a slightly different type of ending and I like realism.

Looking forward to the next series!

I binge watched episodes 4, 5 and 6 today to catch up and watch the final before someone told me but I kind of wish I hadn’t bothered now plus my brain is fried!

Aye...more like an epilogue than a finale.

Clearly left the door open for potential s7 but after that episode, who's going to want it? I know I'm not going to be inclined to invest all the energy into another few series just to be denied a dramatic resolution.

The lack of action even detracted from some great lines from Ted. What a let down.

@Neonprint it wasn’t the reveal for me it just wasn’t done well. The pacing was off it felt rushed, no tension or chemistry, acting was flat. Didn’t measure up to previous seasons.
That doesn’t mean I didn’t get the message or see the overarching theme, I just didn’t think it was implemented well at all

Was it addressed that Buckell's is that no way old enough to be Jo's dad?
She must be at least late 30's, and he's mid 50's tops.

The fella's a fence, nothing more.

I really wanted Carmichael to be the puppet master. To have had the buildup to her pulling more and more strings, being questioned for a whole episode and AC12 not having anything to prove it was her, with the chief constable in her pocket.

I’m hoping that would be season 7.

Last weeks half an hour of no comment and this weeks big reveal which left me thinking huh who even is this guy again, was not the ending the show deserves.

DH & I have just spent the past 3 weeks rewatching series 1-6 to get that as the supposed finale to the whole thing?? WTF?
If Jed wanted that ending there were much better ways to handle it than that.
Plus it makes no sense - if Buckells is an idiot & was just a glorified messenger/fixer that he would agree major jobs like Eastfield Depot without buy-in from various other OCGs - how was he able to do that whilst simultaneously messaging Lisa/Jo/Corbett etc?? He made decisions on the spot & then got agreement from other OCGs which could be potentially fatal etc after the fact?

The person Jo was lead to believe was her dad was Fairbanks - the old guy in prison who claimed he couldn't remember anything.

Well at least the ending of Game of Thrones has slipped into second place for worst endings ever!

As a die hard Thrones fan, nothing, nothing can compare to the devastating shiteness of the last series.

And of course it isn't the end for LOD
