Can be lighthearted or heavy.

Mine is doing the packed lunches. Fucking hate it, especially those stupid Sistema lunchboxes with the compartments that nothing fits in Grin not my best ever purchase

You?

Identify with so many of these but especially:

  • laundry
  • meal planning
  • passwords! Can never remember the buggers

Also slightly random but Sylvanians. Cute toys and DD loves them but so many tiny pieces that seem destined to get sucked up the hoover or disappear under various furniture never to be seen again

me4real · 25/04/2021 18:54

The fact that food has calories (more than I need, anway.)

toastofthetown · 25/04/2021 18:54

People posting in AIBU with a question that blatantly doesn't fit into AIBU.

muttley68 · 25/04/2021 18:56

Doing laundry then going up to bed knackered and realising you've not put clean bedding on

starsparkle08 · 25/04/2021 18:58

The challenges my disabled son faces , I would wave a wand if I had one

Tinkling · 25/04/2021 18:58

Ok reading this I must concur with:

Emptying the dishwasher (don’t mind putting it all in?!)

Folding and putting away washing. I don’t know why I hate it so much but I do.

Re fueling the car. I always fill it to the brim so I can minimise how often I have to do it!

TeachesOfPeaches · 25/04/2021 18:59

School run

Yes to deciding what to have for tea every fucking night!

If i was rich I'd eat out every evening.

Carrying the mental load: Is DP happy at work? Is the autistic child ok at school? Shall i eat more? Less? Is my mum ok? Friends?

MyDcAreMarvel · 25/04/2021 19:01

Agree with password why have they had to evolve this way?
chicken
Chicken
Chicken123
Chicken123@
CakJskyFf@*!
I can’t remember any of them. Then I reset my password and get “you can’t use a previously used password”!
I swear I tried said password five times and was told it was incorrect before attempting the change.

duvets · 25/04/2021 19:02

Doing everyone's thinking for them because I'm the organized one

MammaSchwifty · 25/04/2021 19:02

children not sleeping through

tinkyywinky · 25/04/2021 19:03

Dog hair and muddy paw prints

Minesril · 25/04/2021 19:03

I only put my washing and the baby's away. The six year old's go on his bedroom floor for him to do and Dh's go on the floor beside his bed.

Ds has asked for packed lunch. I've told him when he's in year 3!

Onions and garlic which peel in teeny tiny amounts instead of coming off in big strips. Hate it!!

doubleshotespresso · 25/04/2021 19:05

Exhaustion
Lack of professionalism and provision within education for SEND children
The stupid plastic foil discs you have to rip off milk
The general judginess that has descended upon MN in recent months
Chronic pain
LTN's and pointless cycle lanes that nobody cycles in

mn81987 · 25/04/2021 19:05

Clients thinking they can text me at any hour on any day.

Our NDN.

StCharlotte · 25/04/2021 19:07

Putting fuel in the car. I HATE it. It literally takes 5 minutes to stand and put fuel in and pay for it at the pump but it feels like a massive chore. I get really pissed off when I know I have to spend just 5 minutes of my life fuelling the car.

I walk to work and have filled up my car just ONCE in the last year [smug face].

Mrsmadevans · 25/04/2021 19:08

My fucking Mother

Ohdoleavemealone · 25/04/2021 19:09

@HollyGoLoudly1 Get a coverless duvet! The whole thing goes in the wash and no more wrestling with covers!

OutspokenNotThatFunny · 25/04/2021 19:10

Omg mine too! Lunchboxes. I'd sooner do a mountain of ironing over 1 lunchbox. I hate it. And more so now as dd had them for pre school.
Ds has to as his school aren't doing canteen due to covid.
And Dsc when she's with us... Who has one of those stupid compartment sistema ones. I asked her today how does mummy fit it all in. She said she cuts up my fruit for me and puts my crisps and treat in without the packet..?? I'm not going to do that

Longingforatikihut · 25/04/2021 19:12

Rabbits.

They moult so much; by the time I've got to the other end of the carpet the place I started is covered I fluff again.
